My friends father is in there and getting horrible treatment. The family cannot get phone calls returned and when they try to call nurses station no one answers the phone. His father Im has been unkept for several weeks there. It’s hard for the family to keep a watch on them when the family lives in Massachusetts

My mother was admitted here by the hospital with Covid on 09/20/21 She left quarantine and went to Covid recovery a few days later. She received physical therapy for a week and a half until developing a blood clot. During that period I received only one phone call the first week to update information on her. Myself and my 3 siblings called regularly and once or twice we would receive a call back from a staff member in a period of 3 weeks. With the blood clot she was on bedrest starting 10/1. I finally got to speak to the therapist the Monday 10/4 after going through hoops. The report she gave me

My father just left this facility after receiving therapy for back surgery. He loved both the nurses and therapists. The facility was great and he even raved about the food. We would definitely recommend Port Charlotte Rehab.

Very nice facility. Mother went there for rehab and was then moved to long term care (full time nursing- she's bed ridden)
Staff is great and professional. Moms only small complaint is average at best meals and shortened staff on weekends. But she is treated very very well, I've met several nurses and aides and they all get 5 stars from me. I would highly recommend this facility.

The level of neglect at this facility is awful. My grandmother had to stay for 2 weeks and they neglected her wound so badly that she had sepsis upon her release. We are terrified of what might happen now, because of how harmful that time was for her. She was sent there to rebuild her strength enough to walk after being in bed for 2 weeks with Covid, and she literally came out of this facility in worse shape than she went in. I also had the experience of being on the phone with my grandma as she called for help for 10 minutes straight because she needed help getting to the bathroom, and no one

I had a family member stay here for a little over a month. I currently have another family member here as well. The medical care, compassion, staff and hospitality are nothing short of professional. I would highly recommend Port Charlotte Rehabilitation to anybody who has a loved one in need of rehab. This facility is truly second to none.
