Literally every single Sunday they open late because they have the same person who has no intention of showing up on time, opening. Just this morning I waited for over 30 minutes after the gym was supposed to open. I left and went back home and called the gym 1h 20m after opening, no answer.
It appears the gym is happy to take our membership money but not give us the respect of having their facilities open nor change personnel in order to serve their customers.
This is beyond absurd.

I've never been to a fitness gym in my entire ** years of living so had no idea what to expect
Dean made the entire process very easy and transparent. He fully disclosed any fees so there were no billing surprises in the future. He took the time to thoroughly explain all the benefits of each level of membership. He was kind enough to offer a tour of the facility however we had already done so on our 1st trial session. Yes Vasa does offer 1 free trial which is great!

So I am not new to the gym world at all but I am new to Vasa in Chandler. The facility itself is great. Spacious and has everything you could ever need. It serves my purpose of getting a good workout in and leaving. But that's the thing. If you're the type to put headphones on and your head down...an introvert...just want to peacefully do your thing without feeling obligated to cater to the egos around you (especially if you're woman)...that's where this place is lacking. Very disappointed in vasa I've called multiple times about the situation and my account was never notated by employees. The customer service representative said I was wrong on when I cancelled but when I talked to a different lady she said she could see my last check in and that is when I submitted the cancel. I have worked at a gym before for 3 years and understand how it works. I wouldn't be this upset but the way the situation was handled was very poor and I have been a member before they opened this location

People need to be grateful they live in a state where the gym is even open. All the negative reviews are from people who just love to complain. Sure signs of someone who dont workout consistently. Those who workout consistently, stay positive and eat healthy have no need to be negative and complain. Thank you Vasa for the clean gym, modern vibe and welcoming atmosphere.

So this company prides themselves on no hidden fees being upfront and being affordable, yet there is hidden fees because when I signed up they didn't tell me about an annual fee I would have to pay yearly that's roughly around $70. No warning of this whatsoever they just took it out of my account, my account overdrafted because I'm not getting a lot of money at the moment due to COVID-19, so I got charged an overdraft fee from my bank. Not only do they want me to pay the $70 but they also want me to pay a late fee as well. So always be aware that gyms are going to have hidden fees

Once again no one seems to be enforcing mask wearing even though signs up front say to wear them at ALL times. Big old muscle dude at machines grunting and groaning blowing his germs everywhere with his mask on his effing chin.... let me guess he will claim he can't breath? What the h3ll you doing here then. Half the ppl here wearing them on their chin... these will be the same ppl not wiping down equipment after, the nasties.

Company is trying to charge me termination fees even though my account is over 7 months old. Not just that, this is a corporate account and it states in the contract corporate accounts can be terminated immediately once the member is terminated from employment. Section 18 of the contract if you'd like to look it up. It also states the fee is waived or corporate accounts. Very shady company to work with and they use a 3rd party to manage their billing. It's already depressing to lose my job, but now I am stuck with a gym membership I can't afford.

It is a great gym not going to lie. New gym new stuff always going to be great. But as far as the way they operate and the staff totally not worth it. Ends up being a rip off and not making it comfortable going there cause the staff is rude and there memberships don't make sense. You have to pay a higher membership for guest on top of a guest fee like that makes sense ?? Also to wear a mask while working out they are crazy?! Mountainside doesn't do that
I also asked for a key tag to put on my keys because their app sucks and always kicks you out. And the front desk girl try to lecture

This gym has everything you'd need for whatever type of training you're looking to complete. There are free weights, cable machines, squat racks, basketball court, racquetball courts, cardio movie room, cycling, open area for training, and swimming pool with steam and sauna rooms. The check in staff is super friendly and the entire place is usually very clean and tidied up. It can get pretty busy on the weekdays after work hours so be ready to wait a little for your favorite machines or weights. With 7 squat racks, that's one of the best things about this place. They are well equipped

I recently signed up two weeks, I was a member at eos, the only reason i left was because Eos is overcrowded, I am giving VASA a three because prices are great, contract is straight forward, I was informed of everything I was paying for and yearly fees,easy sign up and month to month, my son loves the daycare , the facility is very clean and best of all not crowded,

Signed up at Vasa a couple months ago and the facility is great but their policies are a nightmare.
Signed up for the $22/month membership because I was told it came with a free guest pass each day I worked out. 2 months go by with me bringing my girlfriend no problem and then one day, we're told she can't workout because I dont have guess privileges. I have to pay an extra $10 a month for a guest. So I have to pay $32 a month for me and a guest? Or, maybe I could just downgrade my membership to the $10 per month membership

VASA is the best gym I've ever been to. I've been a member at EOS, LA fitness, the YMCA, and the rec center at UofA, and VASA is easily my favorite.
You can come here at any time, and even if the parking lot is full, I promise you that it won't be busy inside. I've purposely waited to workout at 5, 6, or 7pm (normally the busiest hours at all the other gyms), just to see how crazy it would be, and it's still not bad at all compared to the other gyms! I've literally only had to wait for something once since I've started coming to VASA.
There's 4 benches
