Elk Lick Service is a family owned, Better Business Bureau-accredited company, serving the Meyersdale area since 2000. We do inspections, automotive and big truck repair, AC service, 24/7 vehicle towing and recovery, and buy scrap cars. After six hours on the road with just myself and my two young children, I blew a tire.
I still had 130 plus miles to go and no idea where I was or what to do. AAA sent Elk Lick to change the flat but when the young man realized how much further I had to go, he took action above and beyond. He made sure I got to the garage where I was told to speak to Brad. Brad replaced my tire with a used one for a ridiculously low price - ridiculously low!

Services
In the early years, Elk Lick Market and Service Center offered auto repair as well as convenience foods, daily lunch specials, and movie rentals. Most of that year was spent rebuilding. Elk Lick Service Center reopened in November, focused on auto repair, inspections, and towing. The new building is much larger, with six bays and three lifts, allowing for heavy duty truck and equipment repair.
Today's vehicles are more advanced than ever before. The technology that goes into each vehicle is constantly changing, which means the methods and tools needed to repair them are constantly changing, too. Automobile technicians must have current skills and knowledge to keep pace with the ever-changing vehicles.

I was driving from Cincinnati, OH to D.C. when my car's alternator went out just before exit 19 in Grantsville, MD. Brad was able to give me a tow through AAA. It was late in the evening and I was lucky enough to have him drop me off at exit 22 so I could stay the night at the Comfort Inn. They had my car ready to go the next afternoon and I made it to my destination just fine! I want to send a huge thanks to the team here. They were incredibly friendly in a stressful time.
