Buying a home is one of the biggest investments of your life. This is not a time to shop for a cheap home inspection. The cost of a home inspection is less than 0.3% of the cost of an average home.
A home inspection is a snapshot of the condition of your new home on the day of the inspection. Unlike a super hero, we don't have x-ray vision and most homeowners frown on us tearing into walls to see what's under the drywall so we won't be doing that. Still, with years of experience, we can take what is visible and infer what may be going on underneath.

Acclaim was one of several inspection companies our real estate agent suggested during our home buying process. Timothy arrived early for the appointment and hustled the entire time I was present. He appeared to be very thorough, and took photos throughout the process. Once the inspection was complete, he went over some of his concerns with us and took my husband around the house to show him the details. We received the report through email the next business day, and it was, indeed, thorough. Color photos added to the explanation of his inspection report, which was well organized and easy to read

Tim has inspected two separate properties
for me over the past couple months - two because the first property had many hidden, serious problems that would have been very difficult to deal with later had we purchased that home. Tim's keen eye caught these things before they became my problem. So when he inspected the second property yesterday and said (remembering the first job he did for me) that this house was in better shape, I trusted him. I have already recommended him to my coworkers, he is very much worth hiring!
