I needed a Home inspection done and Mr Brown stepped up and over delivered. He gave me the most deatiled inspection that I have ever seen. It had pictures,diagrams, what's wrong, why it's wrong and how it should be fixed. I was blown away with how in depth this man was with said inspection. If you need an inspection call this company and get Mr Brown on the job. He was honest,knowledgeable and he came in whith my last minute request. He conducted himself as he was buying the home.

If I could take away stars I would. During our home inspection he actually talked the potential buyer out of buying our home. He scared her away by saying we had structural damage, termites, mold and roof damage. I had licensed professionals in each of these area out to my house and I have documented proof that there was absolutely no chance of structural damage, no termites matter of fact they even pointed out where the home had been previously treated before I ever moved in. Zero mold and the roof had a stick under a single shingle. NO DAMAGE AT ALL. His job is to inspect and report NOT to convince

My wife and I used Above and Beyond for the inspection of 2 houses since Sept 2019. Every time he has been prompt on replying to any communication, almost always within an hour (even during prime holiday season). He was also never late to an appointment. He was very thorough in his inspection to find any defects or potential problems with the houses so that we knew exactly what we were getting into. On the first house, he saved us big time with an issue we would have easily overlooked otherwise. He was also able to explain things in such a way that both myself and my wife were able to understand

Stan is very nice but NOT very good. He missed a LOT of things which surprised me because he seemed very nice and professional. In the window in the kitchen, the blind is pulling the frame off the wall, the paint in the bathroom is peeling and has a hole where the paint peeled, there’s also a hole in the ceiling (small but still there) in the bathroom, the trimming is popping away from the wall, some of the trim is busted, the paint on the ceiling in the living room is peeling, the paint on the ceiling in the office is peeling, and quite a few other things. Stan Brown is a great guy to work with. He is very knowledgeable about his skill and very thorough in his job. He constantly took time to explain things to me and give me history lessons on things that piqued my curiousity. The house he inspected was about 100 years old and he pointed out all kinds of neat hidden gems and features that any other inspector may have just considered not part of the inspection process. Mr. Stan Brown would be the only inspector I would recommend.

Stanton is one of the kindest, most diligent individuals I have ever seen. We were very confused as first time home buyers on the whole inspection process, but Stanton was extremely knowledgable and provided an invaluable amount of information. He knows his stuff! We really lucked out by finding him, and I wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else. I would absolutely recommend him to ANYONE buying a home in southern Indiana.

Stan was incredibly easy to work with. We're on the go a lot, so it helped that we could communicate with him by text and email. He was able to complete both the inspection and report in just a few days, and his report was thorough enough to encourage the seller to address some issues with the home prior to purchase. Would recommend.
