The Well Woman Exam is a yearly physical evaluation of a woman's breast and reproductive health. The exam consists of a breast and pelvic exam, and any questions related to your menstrual cycle. During your breast exam, expect Dr. Walker to check for lumps or irregular tissue. She may, depending on your age or symptoms, order a mammogram, which gives a better picture of the inside of the breast.

I went in to get my fibroids checked and was scheduled a 10:30am appointment. The sonogram was ordered & there wasn't any other times available except 2:30pm same day. Why schedule me so early when you knew the sonogram was a possibility so why not schedule me closer to 2:30pm?
Poor communication regarding charges $$$
Dr. Walker was pleasant with me which is most important but I won't be coming back after my fibroid issue is addressed. The distance I live from Plano isn't worth it for me.
Update: My Tele-visit was scheduled at 3:30pm and I wasn't seen until 4:50pm which lasted only 5 minutes

I called to cancel an appointment after I was not able to obtain specifics on PCOS Testing. If you cannot answer my questions, prior to a visit, then I do not need to visit you. I was also threatened with a $40.00 cancellation fee. There is no service therefore no fee for an office that cannot provide patients with answers to questions.

I am finally posting my experience after reading other reviews and feeling validated. The doctor is RUDE. Another user, Crystal Shipps, also said that her experience with this doctor was negative and that she was condescending. You can see Crystal Shipps review a few reviews down from mine, posted around april/may 2021 (so it is easy to find for posterity) I would not expect this treatment from a big box store cashier, let alone the woman who I am showing my private areas to. Thank you to other posters that have been courageous or bold enough to post before me.

Avoid this place at all cost! receptionist is totally clueless or just doesn't know how to do her job. Appointment wasn't scheduled correctly nor did it start on time. After care is neglectful! This place is interested in only taking your money. Dr. Walker is unattentive, lacks management skills hence why her staff is also incompetent. Save your money and your life!

Her office refused to give me the results of my ultrasound unless I paid for another $300 appointment. I don't have insurance and I've already spent $300 on an appointment that was a complete waste and not what I needed at all. This should be illegal, seeing as if I do have an abcess in my ovaries I could DIE. Absolutely ridiculous to make me pay for the ultrasound and then pay extra just to hear the results. Is it illegal? It sounds illegal. Should be. Anyways I'm just gonna go to the emergency room.

I just called to make an appointment and the process was extremely painful! If the doctor is great, I will definitely give her credit but the receptionist is clueless. Which immediately made me reconsider. I would highly recommend that she hires a friendly and knowledgeable voice as her receptionist.

This office is terrible. The staff is rude. As another person stated, you call during business hours and no one answers or calls you back. Tania or Tonya (however it is spelled), the medical assistant, is horrible and has the worst attitude. Definitely not someone to be working in the medical field because she has no empathy or patience. She is literally collecting a paycheck.

Dr. Christy Is the best doctor I've ever had. I initially sought her out when I found out I was pregnant in 2015, at the time she had a full patient load so I ended up getting care through a doctor she offices with. While I was unable to have her as a doctor during the pregnancy she never missed an opportunity to check on me in passing to ensure the care I was receiving was sufficient. When I went into labor she was the on call doctor so I was grateful to have her deliver my daughter. I had to have a c-section as my baby was frank breech. All I can say is the delivery was the best experience

Dr. Walker is a thoughtful doctor. She went out of her way to help me get a procedure I needed. Dr. Walker is smart, warm, and works incredibly hard. I do usually have to wait 30-50 minutes after my appointment is scheduled to be seen. I'd rather wait for quality (Dr. Walker), then have my appointment be perfectly on time. It's rare to find Doctors who are like she.

I love Dr. Christie but this rating is because the way the office is ran. If you miss the call to get your results then you are out of luck. The medical assistant called with my results and told me to call back between the hours of 8 and 5 only to not return my call for two days. I got her on the phone after calling 5 times at which she said let me call you back and she never did. This has happened to me in the past as well. When I did get Tania on the phone she hung up in my face and then I had to call her back. I felt like I was bothering her because I wanted my results. Overall I can't

Dr.Christy Walker has a very inviting and bubbly spirit. She was very informative and non-judgmental. I was very comfortable and extremely happy with my visit. If you are looking for an amazing OBGYN then book with her today. She also does non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation and plastic surgery. So I'm happy she can take care of all my wants when needed.
