It all began in the late 1970's. Brothers Danny and Tony Clarke started doing jewelry repair work "after hours" for local jewelry stores who didn't have bench jewelers. This business venture showed promise and so, in 1980 Danny decided to take some advanced jewelry courses at a well-known trade school in Paris, Texas.
At Gold Art Jewelers, we provide each customer with a Jewelry Care Guide to provide insights on keeping your jewelry beautiful for a lifetime. It's always advisable to wait until you have applied makeup, perfume and hairspray before putting on jewelry. Cleaning your jewelry on your own is a very good idea, but make sure you never use bleach, as it can destroy your jewelry.
Gold Art understands that your diamond purchase is meaningful. To help with the shopping process, we've compiled this guide to help make your diamond purchase a more informed and enjoyable experience. The four most important criteria that a jeweler uses while grading a diamond are: Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat.
You may think these two diamonds will look exactly alike (see image to the left). But, depending on slight variations in proportions, they could have two very different variations in brilliance. Variation in brilliance is one of the potential risks you take when buying online. As a result, you do not always get the best value for your dollar.
