The many spaces of Tower Park is a perfect setting for our class to observe and investigate the many wonders of the environment around us. Services
To connect children to nature and instill a love for the environment, family, community, and life-long learning. We believe that nature is the perfect classroom to teach our children essential skills for kindergarten and beyond. We want to create an atmosphere where children feel comfortable to explore and gain a sense of respect for their environment, themselves, and others.
The natural environment is calming, fascinating, and best of all, limitless. Research indicates that when children play and learn in nature, they do so with more engagement, imagination and cooperation than in wholly artificial environments. At Natural Start Preschool, nature is our classroom and is the inspiration of our program.
All children are asked to be potty learned (no pull-up diapers) by the start of preschool. We would love for parents to visit and meet the director and lead teacher, Mrs. Katie Cook. Come challenge your body and mind with fun physical and mental challenges! Our campers will be split up into 2 groups while each camper will be challenged to earn points for their team. We will have a celebration of our accomplishments the end of the week! Friends will be creating musical instruments from nature and/or recycled materials.
