These people are the sweetest! Everyone was so kind, friendly and attentive, from the front desk to the hygienists. Dr. Hassler is SO great and personable. I have always loved the staff at Legend dental, but today they went above and beyond. Being Thanksgiving break, I’m on relax mode, and got appointment days wrong. My son and I were late for one and barely made the other, but they made it work and were so nice to me and my frazzled state. Thank you for understanding and grace. Your staff is the best!!

Dr. Shaw was fantastic! Despite having sensitive teeth, my cleaning wasn’t painful and he stressed the importance of flossing without making me feel guilty for not doing it often enough. He also suggested low cost and accessible solutions to the dental issues I’ve been experiencing. The rest of the team at the clinic were also super friendly and lovely.

First time at Legend Dental and I was extremely impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. I really appreciated Dr. Hassler’s time of taking pictures of areas of concern and giving detailed explanations. It was much easier to understand stand than trying to just visualize in my head. The up front prices make a huge difference as well.

I was scheduled to have my tooth done at a different dentist office yesterday but my wife had to go to the hospital with her blood pressure so I missed my appointment. My dentist office I was scheduled with reset me 5 days out!! I had been in really bad pain for 9 days waiting for the infection to clear. I called Legends told them my story and they said they would work me in. Bryan Hessler was amazing. My molar was terribly stubborn but for as unpleasant as it was for being difficult he is great to set you at ease all the way through! They are really attentive to making it as painless as possible

As a nurse I feel like I’m supposed to be immune to going to doctors, but in my case that doesn’t apply when it comes to going to the dentist. For a long time I have neglected my teeth out of absolute fear. I recently got an infection in a tooth that was so bad my entire face was blown up like a balloon. The best experience by far that I have had with a dentist & orthodontist. From the start everyone was very welcoming & kind. The dentist listened to my concerns & answered all my questions. After seeing him I was referred to their in office orthodontist. & today I am starting my Invisalign treatment.
I could not recommend Legend Dental & Orthodontist more. If you are nervous about picking a great dentist call them to schedule. You won’t regret it!

Legends Dental is a complete rip off! I wanted to find a dentist in Georgetown, since we moved and Legends was able to get us in with in the week. I am sure the reason they were able to get us in was because they are crooks! I told Dr.Mertz that she could not take a panoramic of me or my daughter because we had had them within 3 years. I gave her office staff the name of where they were taken and told them they could get a copy if they wanted. After about 30 mins of back and forth, Dr.Mertz said "don't worry about the cost, we will absorb it because we need it to come up with a treatment

I had four very old implants (~25 yr , lower-left molars) that had the porcelain falling off. I went to Dr Hassler to see if there was anything he could do about the problem. He spent a lot of his own time researching the manufacturer of these implants to see if he could get the necessary parts, and came back to me to tell me he was willing to tackle the job. It was very difficult because of the location and the very antiquated methods used at the time they were installed (1994). My overall experience wasn't my favorite, and this sounds crazy, but I normally enjoy going to the dentist. First, my husband and I somehow got rescheduled with another dentist in the office (had originally scheduled with Dr. Hassler; he came highly recommended by a good friend in the industry). While she was very nice and knowledgeable, the way their office operated was not my favorite.

To be honest, I didn't expect much from a corporate dental office. But they accepted my insurance plan so I made an appointment and hoped for the best. Making the appointment online was simple and I found one in a reasonable time. I downloaded the new patient paperwork and arrived for check-in. All this office cares about is how many Medicaid patients they can squeeze in to line their pockets. They are always overbooked. Impossible to get an emergent appointment with them. Impossible to set up 6 month cleaning appointment with them. My emergent dental work couldn't be fit in for months. No personal patient to dentist relationship at all. The wait at every appointment is ludicrous. And if you are getting you wisdom teeth out you better tell them that you want anesthesia or they just assume that you only want numbing shots. Wow!

The dental assistant was so wonderful and the dentist was nice but the work performed was poor. My fillings still hurt a month later. I can feel chunks of filling material in between my teeth stabbing my tounge. The management company any complaints go through are nice at first and then awful later and deny things the things they told you. I have never been treated so bad by another individual as I was by the woman who I talked to after everything was handled by the management office. I would not recommend this office to anyone that has to have dental work done.

I called to schedule an appointment, I mentioned I was pregnant, trying to be polite and not waste time on their schedule because I can't have XRAYS. After a while the very disingenuous receptionist said I couldn't be seen until my OBGYN cleared me and signed a release form. I've never heard of such a policy before, this isn't my first pregnancy or teeth cleaning. The only time she was nice is when she said I could just schedule an appointment after I was no longer pregnant. A first impression is a lasting impression.
