Starting from a one-man home office in 1989, the firm has grown to a team of seven professionals with offices overlooking the Ipswich River. In these years, projects have ranged from town hall restoration and new restaurants to homes and small porch additions. Although most of our work is local, we have projects spanning from Maine to Michigan.
All projects, large and small, are equally important to us and receive our full and continuous attention to detail. Ken founded Savoie Architecture in 1989. He launched the firm out of his home, while simultaneously heading off a complete renovation and addition to his Carpenter Gothic style residence.

Services
As much as we like starting from scratch to make each and every project completely unique, we understand that not everyone can afford the time and expense to go through this process. Our response to this challenge was to create a library of existing designs that can be easily modified to suit different needs and site conditions.
Savoie Nolan Architecture, specifically Ken Savoie and John Fennell, designed the major renovation (essentially a complete interior gut with a 2nd floor addition) of our Ipswich home. Not only did they do a wonderful job, but they did it very efficiently, coming in under the architectural services estimate.

DO not use this little firm. We never received our final drawings. It was a terrible experience; they produced 3 basic cookie cutter design proofs from their simple design software. Embarrassingly enough, they were very extremely sensitive that we didn't like their sample proofs.
We paid our bill but withheld the last $600 (10% of the bill). because we never received the final drawings. They are so small time and clearly desperate, they sent that amount to collections. They never did any work and obviously never produced final drawing (that was stipulated in the contract).
Oh well; most
