Doctor Barnett is a figurative artist, both in the operating room and in the studio! His paintings and sculpture cover many subject matter, but tend to emphasize the human figure. Self taught, he began painting as a child. While at Yale, and again at Johns Hopkins, he produced art on a commission basis.

Laurie began working with Dr. Barnett in 2004. She returned to her Patient Counselor position with Dr. Barnett a number of years ago after a seven-year relocation to Southern California where she worked in the same role. RESPONSE TO DR. BARNETT'S COMMENT ABOUT MY CONSULTATION
I just reread Dr. Barnett's response to my post twice. I'm confused and wondering, should I expect a refund in the amount of $350? "According to his policy that if during an initial virtual consultation an additional in -person consultation is required to confirm his assessment, the in-person consultation is performed at no additional charge."
He told me during the virtual consultation he couldn't tell me anything about my neck without examining it and then proceeded to say generalities that ran counter

Please do not go to this man. He is not good at his trade. He is also arrogant, indifferent and passive aggressive. I am on my third surgery to correct his botched procedure of me. I went to him for a very "basic" eyelid procedure. I believe he was experimenting on me with an unauthorized laser which left me grossly scarred, deformed and unable to close my eye. He did a second surgery to try to correct the first procedure and it actually made it worse. Wish I had never met this butcher of a narcissist.

He is incredibly talented, skillful-a fantastic surgeon! And my results are fabulous and I hear will only get better with time. I'm very happy! I cannot express how thrilled I am with Dr. Barnett and my recent breast reduction and lift. He is a true artist! Dr. Barnett explained my procedure clearly, followed up every day during my first week of recovery and the results could not be better! His staff and surgical team are top-notch. I am very grateful to Dr. Barnett and recommend him highly! Anyone considering a breast reduction should not hesitate. It took me 25 years to finally do this for myself and I've never been happier. Based on his stellar reputation and credentials, as well as his extremely pleasant personality, I chose Dr. Barnett for a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. The splint came off yesterday and I couldn't be more pleased. My surgery and recovery were wonderful, the results are perfect and my new look is superb. My husband is equally enthusiastic. He is excellent!

Be careful. As reported by ABC news in the bay area, this Dr used a company called Future Solutions Media to write 5 star reviews. The Dr claims it was w/o his consent. Hmmm. Really? Then, did you ask yelp to remove those reviews? Any tme someone has many 5 stars, it looks suspicious, don't you think? Only 10-20% should be 5 star. Don't these reviews on here sound fake, fake, fake? Yelp cannot be trusted. When my ex didn't want to pay them a fee, suddenly, his good reviews completely VANISHED and this hurt his business. And this Dr's reviews can't be trusted either. That

Good with the eyes but be careful. When I initially went in about my eyes, Dr. Barnett quickly focused on my chin and did something different there - took out way too much fat and now I look 30 years older from the chin down - real bad turkey neck. I see it every time I look in the mirror - makes me VERY self conscious.

If i could give Dr. Barnett a 10 star rating i would!
He is the absolute BEST plastic surgeon around, i have had 2 procedures done by him and could not be happier!! His work is incredible, he is very thorough, kind, funny and he explains everything and is always available for questions. He takes the time to understand what YOU want.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Barnett and his staff for my breast augmentation. I was referred to him by many as well as my OB at Kaiser. He was very professional and answered all my questions in advance. He never rushed me on a decision and kept me at ease through the entire process. The procedure itself went great! His team at the San Ramon Valley Medical Center was awesome. As the other Sarah said below, he also held my hand while I drifted off! Both he and his staff called to check on me every day after my surgery for the first few days- including Saturday and Sunday!

I was in such good hands with Dr. Barnett. Had him put back what was rightfully mine before kids...He was so meticulous-even down to how the nurse gave me an I.V. It has been almost a year, and I am so pleased with the results. Other doctors I went to showed me photos of their work, and I really could see a difference in shape. He addressed every possible thing that "could" go wrong that I read on the internet, and seems to reallly look out for his patients. Well I think the most important thing is that I am very satisfied with the work I had done.
Secondly, Dr. Barnett is very nice and personable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure, from initial consultation to post-op. His staff are also very attentive and friendly.
Overall, my experience was very positive and I would go to him again if I ever want another procedure in the future.
