I usually don’t write reviews but I have been going to Canvas Nails for about a year now. The gentleman/ receptionist is always very kind. However I usually have Ivy do my nails. The last time I came in 12/30/21 she was very rude to me and I don’t know why. She said I needed a new nail set but I didn’t have time that day I just wanted a full. She was talkin very bad about me to her co workers and even though there is a language barrier I knew it was nothing nice she was saying. She made me feel so uncomfortable that I will not give my business to this salon anymore. I wanted to cry how rude

The atmosphere of this place was really great with an "instagram" vibe. It was nice and inviting which is hard to come by in nail salons these days.
The prices were very reasonable. $28 for a pedicure and $25 for a gel manicure. The nail art was $15.
My gel manicure wasn't that great. The polish is bubbled, visible brush strokes in certain areas and my cuticles weren't pushed back enough before polish was applied.
I'd definitely go back if I lived here but would see another person. My moms manicure looked great but not mine.

I'm new to the AZ area, and I have very high standards when it comes to nails. After being here for about 1 year and searching sooo many salons, I finally found this one and from the first visit I knew "this was it!" From my understanding all of the techs are good. I originally started with Quinn, but she only does manicures and pedicures, no acrylic. But, it's ok, because I recently saw Diane and I absolutely love my nails and design. Update, service took a major turn. I ask if they would cut my cuticles, (not rip down/dry), which is in accordance with the board certification standards. Because ripping down, especially with dry cuticles- causes hang nails! So anyway, I'm polite, I tip well, I waited a long time.
One of the owners took me, I asked if he could cut my cuticles, not rip down, very nicely! He said he didn't know how and STOPPED our manicure!!!! His ego was effected rather than customer service being in the forefront. I have never had an issue at any salon or for any beauty vendor - EVER.

I really debated if I should update my review or not but I'm upset and feel like I need to. I've been coming to canvas for awhile and typically like my service. However, today I went with my mom to get my nails done for my wedding (which I told both the people who helped me).

Went in for mother/ daughter mani pedi as my daughter is getting married on Saturday -- we were happy with our pedicures but the girl
Who did my daughter's powder dip did a horrible job , did not clean the skin around her cuticles as she had black polish on before- did not use the electric buffer/ sander to get excess polish off - were not buffed or sanded properly rough edges underneath part of nail -- did not soak or clean cuticles --did not put lotion on hands and it was not worth what we paid - i would never go here again not enough attention paid for such an important day and prices

I had a pedicure here this morning. It was a great experience! I would recommend this place. Very very relaxing. I almost fell asleep during the wax and hot stone.they make it very easy to make an appointment online. I strongly recommend making an appointment as they knew who we were when we walked in and we didn’t have any wait time.

This is my 2nd time here, I bought my mother n law with me, she loved it. The employees are very professional but nice & friendly. I had a pedi (deluxe) this time, it came out great. The massage/scrub/hot stone was heavenly. I recommend this salon. It's about 12 min drive, there's a nail salon 2 mins from where I live, but I rather come here. 100% better all around

A bit pricey for the services received. Just went for a delux pedicure- was cut a few times during the cuticle trim and no apologies or even cleaning of where she cut. Was a very quick experience for $41. Many other better places out there.
Update: How can you review the footage of me when you do not have my contact information or even time I went in for my pedicure??? The appointment was not registered under my name or phone number, so the owner response from you is just inaccurate and falsified.

I went there and they gladly took me in as i called before hand to see if i can come in. Everything was fine until i noticed the guy i had was rushing me as it was closing time. They should not have said yes to me and my sister. Both of our nails looked so bad that i had nail polish on my skin and my nail polish was already coming off on day one and my sisters nail was nothing like she asked for and her came off as well. When we asked for a refund was told no and that they made sure to to tell us when we walked in, but we were never told by the receptionist about this. They literally lied to us

I had an appointment at 11 and they started with me at 11:11am which is ok. The service was 1 hour, customer service was awesome Diane was so nice and attentive. It is expensive though, I don't think I will come back here, I don't know what I paid for, the website shows that a full set for acrylic gel polish is $38+. I paid $80 for this set, no manicure, no design, no gems.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went on 5/30 to get a full set and ended up with 4 nails that had no polish on some spots. The nail tech also cut me in 3 different places. Then two days later, one of my nails chipped off. After only two days, a nail shouldn't chip off like that. I posted a review on Facebook and they told me to go back in to get it fixed. The establishment is very clean and on top of things. All employees and patrons were wearing masks. There are plexiglass between the techs and me when my manicure was being done.
Making an appointment mid-week during lunch time was pretty easy. I arrived about 5 minutes early and was guided to the pedicure chairs immediately. It was nice that I didn't have to wait when having made an appointment.

My to go nail salon, the staffs super friendly and the price are reasonable. If you try to walk in during the weekend good luck because they're pack. I would highly recommend appointment if you try to go during the weekend. If you want nails art it can be pricey depend on what you get, but they do delivered. Beside that, I am very please with the services that they have provided me here!

I love this nail salon!
They are enforcing social distancing requirements. Everyone wears masks and they have plexiglass at their manicure stations. The staff is so nice and they all have done excellent jobs when I've taken my mom there for pedicures.
The CBD pedicure in Gold is fantastic!
They have a plethora of regular and gel polishes S well. I will have to take more photos of the salon next time I go, but here are some photos I took last time. They are so funny!

I've been coming here a few times now for dip manis and pedis and so far I've had great nail techs and the place is so relaxing and gorgeous. I like to watch Ninja warrior when I'm there haha
Pricing is comparable to the email salons, maybe a few dollars more, but what I like is everyone I've had do my nails has done a great job with paying attention to detail and listening to what I want.
I also like that you can book appointments online which has worked out well for me so far, no long wait.
