BlueScape was pleased to present this complimentary webinar to update companies doing business in California in 2020 on how changing air quality regulations will impact their business. The webinar will provide the California regulatory update by agency jurisdiction (federal EPA, state, and local), program area, and by selected regions and industries.
BlueScape has extensive experience consulting with industrial clients and public agencies on local, state and federal air quality regulations, to achieve compliance with criteria pollutant and air toxic emissions. We excel at working with air quality agencies, such as the South Coast Air Quality Management District, to structure flexible permits and conditions.
Air quality permits and regulations can require source testing, recordkeeping and emissions reporting to verify compliance. To avoid violation notices and/or expensive fines, a solid air quality compliance management program must be in place. We will complete a comprehensive audit of current operations to determine areas of compliance requirements.
Air dispersion models are tools to assess impacts from air pollution sources. Why are these tools important? Air permit applicants must show that potential air quality impacts will not exceed specific health thresholds. If used before pollution sources are actually built, air dispersion models can be more advantageous than air monitoring.
Your company plans to operate a new industrial process, but you need to calculate air emissions for an air permit application or health risk assessment required by a regulatory agency. Or, you want to know if air emissions will cause smoke or odors that would be a nuisance to your neighbors.
BlueScape will obtain representative air emissions data, utilizing stack testing information, published emission factors, chemical release models, or material balance methods. We utilize reputable stack testing firms familiar with USEPA and local source testing requirements.
