Services
Rosedale Animal Hospital has been in existence since 1976. We are a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. Dr. Sue Reiter purchased the practice in June of 2004 after 16 years as an associate in mixed and small animal veterinary clinics.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
Christine, practice manager: Christine has worked at Rosedale since 2002 as both a veterinary assistant and occasional receptionist, yet her ability to multitask and act as a jill-of-all-trades made her an obvious choice to replace Barb as practice manager in 2021. While she often appears stoic, Christine is our resident prankster and keeps the whole staff on their toes!
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
We are always glad to accept resumes from enthusiastic, hard working, dependable, team oriented people who wish to join our team of veterinary health care professionals.
Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.

Called to make an appointment was told there was a 57 dollar deposit to guarantee i would show up i asked to speak to the Manager and when i asked what guarantee i could get that my pet would be seen in a reasonable time i was told there was no guarantee on that. When i questioned that she said there was no guarantees in life then hung up on me. In my opinion if that's how she treats people i can only Imagin how she would treat someone's loved pet. I recommend going to another vet.

I love this place!!! The team here is undeniably amazing. I have 3 dog all 70 lbs or bigger. I was able to get all 3 seen in one visit. With help from the techs this place is fast! Wallet friendly!!!! Don’t let your pup suffer. My Great Dane puppy is actually excited to visit the vet!

This place has been our vet for the last 3yrs. I always felt they were a bit too expensive but since referred to me by a coworker, I decided to remain. This past Friday, Aug.6, 21 our dog became in distress. We called what we thought was our vet, left a message around 3am, they opened the next day at 730am but we never received a return call. Saturday morning, our dog still in major distress by, we call them back, it's 9am. The lady tells my husband, "yes, we got your message, we were gonna call back but we have 5 emergencies". He proceeds to explain to her what was going on with our dog, she responds

Good service but COVID mask policy sucks. Even vaccinated people must wear a mask which I totally disagree with. Me myself will not enter the place. However, my wife has an established relationship with them so she takes our pet inside. I usually drop them off and go for a coffee somewhere close by. If it weren't for the wife, I would go elsewhere.
As far as their services, I wish I could respond to that but since I was discriminated against and not allowed in, I wouldn't know.

Wonderful local vet, that is very informative regarding my pet’s health and overall care as he grows. The techs treat great with handling and maintaining a calm environment during examination; admin staff works with my ridiculous schedule to find time that works for me to maintain his health visits. The only minor detail that’s stands out for me that diminishes the overall experience is the loud overhead radio that plays inside the waiting area, commercials included, is a bit jarring and a dated practice for modern times. Is there no one with an ad-free Spotify account to utilize in the waiting

I am the owner of 2 dogs and have been a customer of Rosedale Animal Hospital for years. Several years ago I switched one of my dogs over to a vet in Essex MD but kept my other at Rosedale Animal Hospital since it's so close to my home. I'll keep the reason private for my switching the other dog since it isn't pertinent to my issues today.
I waited over a week to get the appointment which was for 4pm. I arrived at 3:45 and called to let the folks know I had arrived and what type of vehicle I was in. I waited in my car and called again at 4:10pm after watching numerous techs come out to assist

I've been bringing my lab here since she was a puppy and she's always been treated like she's one of their personal pets, Dr Reiter has watched her grow up and gives great advice and wonderful care to every issue we've had over the years. Recently my pup had knee surgery and the entire team has made the experience as painless as possible for everyone - we visited today for a post-op treatment and unfortunately the pup opened up her wound while trying to jump back into my car, and the tech literally ripped their scrub top off to wrap around her leg before they carried her back inside to fix it up

I have a great veterinarian but I recently moved and needed to go to a place close to my home so I called Rosedale Animal Hospital. My dog was experiencing extreme scratching, excessive drinking, panting and fever. I was able to make a same day appointment and was happy with experience I had on the phone in scheduling. When I arrived, there were a few negative comments made about the records that were sent over by my vet that I did not believe was very professional to be said in front of me. I met with Martha Dadura who spoke about several things both about my dog's current symptoms, the

I used to drive by Rosedale Animal Hospital all the time on my way to work in the morning. I adopted a beautiful orange and brown tabby and I brought her here for her wellness check up. I am absolutely amazed at the impeccable customer service that is given by the wonderful employees. They are so nice and friendly and respectful. They care so much about your pet and make sure they are comfortable. They are very reasonable with their fees and I have never had trouble scheduling an appointment. They answered all my questions as a new pet owner and I wouldn't take my angel anywhere else. I love

I love Rosedale Animal Hospital! They knew just how to handle my cat and make us both feel at ease. The doctors are very thorough and they actually care about your pet(s). My cat was very sick and I thought there was no hope left but they assured me that her condition was still treatable and prescribed effective treatment. They even offered to cut up my cat's medication into quarter portions when my local pharmacy refused to do so! I'm very grateful to the doctors here for providing such compassionate and honest service! Would recommend them to anyone!

I am new to Baltimore and had no idea where to go when our kitty starting having some weird seizure-like episodes. I called Rosedale and was able to get an appointment on the same day. The receptionists and assistants were extremely sweet and polite and it was clear they truly loved animals!
When I saw Dr. Reiter, I was very impressed with both her professional manner as well as her warmth toward my cat. She listened carefully to my concerns, asked lots of questions and clearly explained what she thought. After our visit, she was easy to get a hold of again to answer more questions.
