Charm City Veterinary Hospital (CCVH) is a small animal veterinary practice in the thriving Brewers Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. Our full-service medical facility offers a wide array of services including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostic workups, sick care, digital radiography, surgery, dentistry, on-site laboratory, and compassionate euthanasia.
Amanda has been with Charm City Vet Hospital since we first opened in January of 2014. She is one of our talented VeterinaryTechnicians. Prior to coming on board with Charm City she had five years of prior experience in the Veterinary field. Amanda loves working at Charm City because she is able to help animals and continuously learn more about veterinary medicine and animal care.
Originally from Florida, Amy earned a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology from Auburn University and worked at veterinary hospitals in Orlando and San Francisco before moving to Baltimore. She began as a vet tech at Charm City Vet Hospital in November of 2014, within our first year of opening. Amy loves to swim, play water polo and softball, and enjoys reading- mostly mysteries and love stories.
Arrrrnold has been employed with CCVH since March of 2014. You'll often see him strolling throughout the hospital dressed to impress. He may be missing a foot, but he definitely doesn't miss a thing. He is always in the middle of the action and doing everything he can to keep everyone laughing. Arnold is the glue that holds the hospital together.
Erika is one of our amazing Veterinary Technicians here at Charm City Vet Hospital. She started working at Charm City in September of 2015, after working for two and a half years as a vet tech assistant for a specialty vet hospital in Portland, Maine. While living in Maine, she also volunteered with a Rescue and Rehabilitation Organization for 6 years rehabbing seals and sea turtles at the University of New England, Erika's alma mater.

I wish I could give this place zero stars, my experience was terrible. Terrible doesn’t cut it, my experience was abominable. The veterinarian here is unreliable, unprofessional and shows a lack of empathy. She quickly asked for me to shell out more money to remedy her errors. This is after I’ve already paid ~$500 at her clinic.
This vet recorded the wrong breed of my dog, she referred to my female pet, as a male dog and she question my credibility in a conflict. The techs are amazing, however, the veterinarian did not demonstrate any pride in her practice. I’m sad that I wasted my money

Very disappointed. Called to get appointment and got automatic recording asking me to send text message instead. Sent text and told to go to website to fill out a form. Filled out form and sent text. Hours later still no response so I sent another text and was told to fill out another form in order to schedule and that they could then see me late August/early September. With the many good vet options in area, why would I want to get started with a new vet that provides this first impression? I can’t imagine what working with them is like.

Can't say much about the pricing because its the only vet I have been to other than urgent care, but the staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly and have helped keep my pup healthy, so no complaints here- I definitely reccomend. Setting up appoinments was easy as well, and they also use text messaging which I really appreciate.

I'm so happy I found this place. My dog Lucas loved them well. They are so knowledgeable of their procedures and make sure they explain it to you in details. Now my dog is very well and he's back to being his silly self. I've been to a lot of vets in the city, now I finally found the right place for our Lucas. Great job you guys!

I, unexpectedly, needed to go out of town and board my dog. Since I have never boarded her before, we are behind on the bordetella vaccine that is required. I called to ask about getting an appointment but was unable to before I leave. I then explained my situation regarding the one vaccine needed. Because we just moved here, I have no idea where I might be able to turn to for some assistance. Instead of being helpful (or just kind!) she was rude and condescending. Look, lady, I don't

I recently switched from my old vet to Charm City based on a referral. I love this place! The staff is so friendly & efficient. It is super easy to get an appointment that is convenient for your schedule. When I had to put my cat to sleep this month they were amazing through the entire heart breaking process and even sent me a condolence card. I would highly recommend this place for you and your loved ones (fur babies).

Charm City Vet is an amazing place that takes superior care of your pets. We brought our dog, Jewels, here when she was very ill. They accommodated us and got her in immediately. She received incredible care and was back to herself in no time. Prices were very reasonable and the doctors and techs were very compassionate and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience with my first time at Charm City Vet. My cat was very stressed due to a move and urinated outside of her litter box. I was very concerned since she has never done that before. Charm City was able to fit me in within the same day and was very helpful in diagnosing and treating her. I will definitely return for her annual checkups or if she gets sick again.

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr Eavers & Dr Karbonik all the way back at their previous vet Hospital and I followed them here when they moved. The service and care from everyone here is amazing. … They are always so friendly and caring and there are no stupid questions with them. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a new vet. They are worth it.

I needed a vet close by for my two kittens and who are now full grown cats. all the vets and staff are very friendly and responsive. the vets followed up each appointment with an email wanting further details of the any issues we had. one of my kitties has asthma and I brought this up and the vet was very understanding. sometimes with seasons changing, we needed fast refills of prednisone and the staff was very accommodating. they are a little pricey but what's expected for the city and great quality care.

I've been bringing both of my puppies here for almost a year now. Dr. Eavers and Dr. Karbonik have both been very helpful and take amazing care of my fur babies. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There have been multiple occasions where I had to schedule appointments last minute, and they all go above and beyond to fit us in and make sure we are seen. I would never take them anywhere else!

I have to say hands down the best place to go. Each and every person there was absolutely amazing, the Receptionist, Vet Tech and Veterinarian . We received incredible care. We went at a difficult time for an end of life evaluation. They took so much time and care with us and our beloved border collie Spirit. We left in awe of they total care we received. To top it off 3 days after having to say goodbye to our little princess, we received a sympathy card hand written from the staff. We have no idea how they even knew. I am switching there for our other dog and highly recommend them as the best
