The day your braces come off or you complete wear of your final aligner tray is an exciting day. But that doesn't mean your orthodontic treatment is complete! In order to ensure your smile stays as beautiful as the day your braces were removed, you must wear a retainer. Without a retainer, your teeth will shift back to their previous locations, undoing all the hard work you've put in.

Originally from Westchester County, Dr. Steve earned his bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University. He then went on to Montefiore Medical Center to earn his specialist certificate in orthodontics. Dr. Steve is committed to the highest levels of orthodontic care and became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

The team at Westwalk is absolutely amazing!!! My 9 year old daughter has very extreme anxiety when it comes to dental work. The team goes out of their way to make her comfortable and to meet all her needs. They are patient, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable.
