Four Corners Optical
Dr. Barry Kissack and staff members, Jane, Zach, Erika and Opticians Sally and Amy welcome you to Four Corners EyeCare and Optical. Dr. Kissack has been serving the residents of Honeoye Falls and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. He's proud to have worked with individuals, families, and local organizations to provide full-scope vision and medical eye care, as well as quality optical services in a convenient location.

Kissack & his staff have treated my family great ever since I first needed glasses as a kid. While I hadn't been able to go to them for a few years due to work insurance, that changed with my most recent job, and I was able to take my spouse in with me as a new patient, and they still treated me great and did a much better job than the previous, chain shop that I had to go to.
Services
Jane has been with the office since we began in the late '80s. Jane's background comes from contact lens manufacturing, customer service and then into clinical studies. Her skills give the office specialized patient care to help in all matters. Zach has been in the office for over 12 yrs. He seats patients and does histories for the patients.
The comprehensive eye examination provides complete care for both adults and children. Ample time is always scheduled so you will never feel rushed. Your eyes are checked inside and out for any prescription you might need for glasses or contact lenses. We check for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration and all other eye diseases as well as high blood pressure, diabetes and other systemic diseases.
Our office provides many of the surgical services such as Cataract surgery, Laser surgery, Refractive surgery and Strabismic surgery. We offer this in conjunction with local eye surgeons. Additionally, we have working arrangements established with other specialized eye care doctors to manage such things as retinal detachment, retinal tears and hemorrhages.
In Laser Vision Correction (LASIK), a flap is cut in the cornea and then the flap is gently folded back. An Excimer Laser is used to reshape the cornea; much like a contact lens forms a new shape on the cornea, only a laser is permanent. The flap is then put back in place, acting like a natural bandage.
Your children's eyes are very precious. They should have their eyes examined by an eye care practitioner by 3 years old (before; if anything suspicious is suspected) and before they begin 1st grade. This is to be sure that their vision development is proceeding normally for good clear healthy vision.
