As a boy who grew on the dirt streets of Sicily, John Balconi knows something about what it means to be authentic Italian. As the son of the town baker, who never wanted to see anyone go without bread- whether they could afford it or not - he knows what it means to be hospitable and to treat people the way you want to be treated.
And since his father died when he was young, John has known nothing but working hard to provide for his family first in Italy, and then as they arrived in America with little more than each other. Through 5 decades, the Balconi family has shared the same food at their restau- rants that they shared at their dining room table at home.

1st time there only did take out. 1hr wait time. Food was hot. Drove 20 mins back home and was still warm.
Food was good I ordered the carbonara and the platter (chicken parm, speg and meatball, stuffed shells) garlic bread and some desserts.
It was good. Place seemed clean, lots of traffic of people coming and going to dine in and take out.

Have ordered here so many times within the last year of the pandemic and all I can say is always superb service and amazing food!
Tonight I got there for a pickup order to find there were 2 big parties plus the dining room and take out orders and there was a problem with one of the ovens.
I just want to say that the entire staff was amazing and accommodating and running around to make sure everyone had what they needed. I truly applaud these fine staff who make it a priority to do everything they can while it was obvious they were under a lot of stress. Great job always and can’t wait to continue

Had a family dinner last night for my wife's birthday at the Village.
We eat there often and always have a fantastic dinner and service!
There were 13 of us and was very happy how efficient all the staff!
Taking care of a group of 13 is a big chore and was executed very well!
The food was excellent and large portions!!

Typically the food and service is outstanding, tonight they were a little off their game. Was seated and no one came over for about 10 minutes. Garlic bread took 20 minutes and spaghetti was a little hard ( more than Al Dente) when the meal arrived. It was very busy so this may have had something to do with it.

I travel several weeks per month and look for local food. This fits this description. I ordered Chicken Margarita upon the waiter recommendation ... wow ... outstanding. The chicken was very tender, perfectly cooked and the sauce was great. I should have order a glass of Chardonnay not Pinot Noir.. It was obviously home made. Great job chef.

Everything we ordered was delicious and the servers were very attentive and prompt. We ordered, ceasar salad, the Italian trio, calamari and gnocchi. The gnocchi di nonna Lucia was fantastic, chewy gnocchi, and the white wine sauce, my goodness. We also ordered dessert, tiramisu, and the peanut butter pie (both vanished before the entrees). From the bread to dessert we were very pleased, especially after a flight. It's a nice chill spot.

This place is the greatest. The food and staff are awesome. I can't rave enough about the freshness of the food and the authenticity of there Italian cuisine. The staff is always friendly and puts the customer first. John and Miemo "Mo" are the best at everything they do. Always 1st class and only the best comes out of the kitchen. I had a great time there and felt right at home.

I been in this restaurant several times and the food is pretty good. I would say a 3 of 5 on the rating here on Yelp. But this restaurant is an entire joke. Service is horrible with half the staff not caring and the other half running around clueless. I know a person who works there and even says that the kitchen staff actually turns off the grub hub and door dash computer orders when they get busy on busy days like Fridays.

My friend and I almost didn’t stop here because the location… tucked inside a little strip mall, but I am so glad we did! We ordered the Haddock and Eggplant Parmesan, and both dishes were among the best we have ever had. I actually still think about the Haddock and wish I could go back and have it again!!! Kudos on an amazing meal. Staff was attentive and friendly, too.

Delicious food all the way around. Have been eating here for years and it's always consistently good. Today fir lunch I got the steak sandwich, Arancini and a salad. This will for sure turn into 3 meals. Everything here is huge and delicious. My delivery arrived piping hot and everything has been really yummy. The bread on the steak sandwich was the perfect amount of form but chewy, and the Arancini were the size of Bocce balls!! This is for sure a go to for Italian food.

I saw this restaurant on doordash and I always wanted to order from there so I told my son about it and he treated me to dinner here, the place is very homey, small and quaint, clean very welcoming and the service that we received was outstanding, the waiter also explained the menu to us, once we were seated they brought out some warm bread and oil and herbs and some butter and water, the staff was very attentive.
