I wanted to give this place a second chance since last time I came in it was terrible. Unfortunately I can't say it has gotten any better. I noticed they have a new menu with weekly specials which seemed interesting to my partner and I. Before ordering our main entrees we decided to have the loaded fries. When they were first brought out to us the fries were cold as well as all of the toppings. We complained and the waitress nicely offered to get us new ones. The next order was better and included fresh fries. I noticed other tables around us also complained about their fries and were brought

We were seated with gracious excitement, an absolute tickling to start. Generous portions of spinach and artichoke dip will set the mood among friends that is to be certain. I ordered the banh mi, a tantalizing tasty treat which a friend had mistaken as a Vietnamese po boy. Not too far off that bloke. We will wage war with the waitress for threatening to take back uneaten delicacies, but we will be back.

Lunch with my aunt today. It wasn't too busy which I was happy about because it's not the biggest dining area! The food was great. The French onion soup was so flavorful and the spinach salad was delicious. The salad had hot bacon dressing which is so hard to find, so I order it whenever I see it on a menu! It did not disappoint. And the prime rib beef on weck was PRIME. The only downside was the homemade chips that came with the sandwich were way too salty. I normally love salt, but this was just too much. Overall great experience!

Superb! Alecia, our waitress was excellent, took time to point out specials, came back to check on our satisfaction but was not hovering. She was very friendly and anxious to please customers. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. No table is almost on top of another table.
The food was very, very good. Best French Onion soup I've had in a long time. Food was hot enough. Portions are very big. I had the reuben which was very good & loaded. My husband had the 2 8oz pan fried pork chops - so tender, flavorful and moist. Food was so plentiful, there was no room for desserts!

A quick stop for dinner after the kids games in the area. Was quickly greeted at the door and sat. Waitress was Nice, Friendly and informative on menu and specials. Food was quick and very good. Entire family liked all their meals.
But needs alittle attention to bathrooms, and restaurants smell. I know it's a Bar/Ale house as well as a restaurant, but just alittle more attention.

The food was great. but you need to carry cash or you are charged more for using a credit card. not a fan of charging customers for using cards. Also a 2.50 fee to use ATM for cash. I do not charge my Avon customers extra for credit card use.
Also make sure you do not forget when you walk away to take your left over cantainers did not even get to tha car returned to find out they had thrown them out already not even 3 minutes. Not planning to return.

Always enjoy coming here, but today the waitress was very condensing. I honestly don't mind when service is slow, but I do not like when server really doesn't care .I have been in the restaurant business for many years, and always tip minimal 20 %, but usually closer to 30 %. Sometimes more.Today however that did not happen. I really enjoy coming here and will definitely try again. I get Sometimes you're having a bad day, but seriously you should try to put on a happy face. Restaurant was not even busy. The hostess was super sweet.

Slower than slow service. It took 15 minutes for the server to come take our drink order, and another 20 minutes to bring 2 iced teas, food came an hour and a half later; french fries were so old.that they were cold and had no potato left inside them, my husband got the wrong meal, but didn't complain because we waited so long, we had no silverware or napkins either. Everyone around us was complainimg about the service, and when the man at the next table went to talk to a manager about things, he was told there wasn't a manager on duty. I have never seen such bad service with so many complaining

We used to love coming here but after waiting almost 2 hours for a Reuben and beef in weck during the middle of the day with minimal customers in the restaurant, and then to be served burnt French fries with our meal, we won't be returning. The waitress brought the food out and said "these fries look awful but I had them put some more down for you." 15 minutes later she came back with half frozen fries... I understand the staffing issues but this was unacceptable.

Will not eat here again. Came up from Florida for a visit and my parents choose this restaurant to have lunch and celebrate. Once we sat down we were told there was no alcohol. We then ordered lunch and was served only to be told we would have to leave in the next 30 minutes as the power was going to be shut off. The final straw was the bugs floating in the water. As we walked out our feet stuck to the floors they were so dirty. One can only hope the employees will spend their free time cleaning the place.

We came here after picking up a new vehicle. It was a week night at 8pm. We aren't local to West Seneca, we picked the place based on the reviews on their Reubens. This is what I got. It was absolutely delicious and worth a trip if you love Reubens. They offer double meat, I did not get this. My son got the prime rib beef on Weck, he said it was outstanding and juicy. My daughter got the burger, she wasn't in the mood to share her opinion...but she ate most of it and it was cooked medium and was juicy. My husband got the patty melt with bacon. He said it was excellent with grilled onions

The food and drinks are really good but prices are going up and service is going down. My friends waited 45 min for their food with only one reassurance that it's "on it's way". The prices have also skyrocketed. I cant believe how much it is for a single order of wings. This place used to be a hot spot for happy hour. But I think its on its way out, unfortunately.

I got their Cajun chicken salad and, as I expected from having had a salad there a few years ago, it was very good. Also, when I say these salads are huge, they are absolutely gargantuan! Their craft beer selection is also decent and they're quick on the mixed drinks. They are pretty good about covid protocols despite being allowed to be open as late as they want due to being part of that lawsuit. I've been there a few times and the servers and bartenders always wear masks, and they have the dividers up. I'd go there anytime!

It's a great start when you can make a reservation. I get hangry fast :). My hubs will tell you they have THE BEST REUBEN in WNY. Add some fresh sweet potato fries with sea salt and honey. And you have a winner.
The French onion soup while a little thinner than I prefer had excellent flavor.
Now for the fish fry. There was nothing bad with the fish fry , there were things that were just different and this portion of the review is just to provide the reader with data.

Updating my review with the experiences I have had during COVID times.
I really cannot complain much, I think the quality of food that we've had for takeout matches with what we were getting during our indoor dining experiences. Most of the food is delicious and fairly priced.
To pickup your food, you do have to walk into the bar area and hope someone is around. My sister said she waited there for quite a few minutes, standing next to a grubhub lady who complained to her about how awfully slow her experiences always are while getting takeout from here - fortunately we did not have any issues

Creole Pasta was outstanding. Huge portion size fresh veggies, unique and flavorful.
Fettuccine was tasty. Not super heavy like some places and had a very authentic creaminess.
Order taker on phone was friendly and food was ready in under 15 minutes.
Pickup was smooth and all COVID processes were followed.

This is my go to place for Reubens, the double decker! Perfect every time melts in your mouth, plenty of meat, wish they made a triple decker! Comes with home made chips that are also great with a touch of added salt. The wife had the Cobb salad any enjoyed it very much. Our son enjoyed the shrimp pour-boy, shrimp was cooked perfect with a nice little tang ! It also had the chips. Every thing taste great! I guess do to corona the service was slow but we were not in a rush and the food was well worth the Waite! Please put a triple decker on the menus haha!

They have their spacing out right and a nice flow to keep people moving. The food was as great as always. I had their po boy with seasoned shrimp and bacon. The shrimp seasoning was so good I wanted more and almost forgot it had bacon. Let me tell you I love bacon. Always a must go for a good beer selection and their double decker Ruben.

It is entirely possible that I chose our lunch spot entirely on the notion that it was owned by Ebenezer Scrooge, having hidden his recipes under that hat of his. And thankfully it was a post Christmas Carol Scrooge, because this place is not stingy on the food or flavor.
