Services
Attorney Lindsay Rand has been practicing law since 1981 and has worked in the area of Social Security disability since that time. He has represented Social Security clients on a national basis, appearing at administrative hearings and as counsel of record in over 15 states. He has worked as a federal employee and as a claimants' attorney in the area of Social Security law offering representation at all levels of appeal.
In 2018, substantial work was defined by the Social Security Administration (SSA) as monthly income exceeding $1,190 a month (in 2019, this will increase to $1,220 a month). Your medical condition(s) must have lasted, or be expected to last, at least one year, or be expected to end in death. Being disabled is not just a matter of having a medical condition that prevents you from performing your usual job.
I've had the pleasure of working with Attorney Rand, who represented me in my recent disability claim. I could not be more pleased with the services Lindsay provided me during this process. All my questions were answered promptly, whether it was a phone call or an email. I thought I would be in for a long wait and have to go through an appeal, but that was not the case.
Attorney Lindsay Rand received his Juris Doctorate from New England School of Law in 1981. During his law school years, he worked as an intern with the Boston Regional Attorney's office for the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, where he researched and wrote appellate level briefs for Federal District Court involving Social Security disability law.

I needed a lawyer to help me with my disability appeal, and the moment I called Atty Rand, I knew he was the lawyer I needed. I told him my story and how I got denied disability two times and he thought I had a case. From that day on.. he was so helpful and encouraging!!! He calls back real quick. Very knowledgeable on disability insurance. I would and have recommended him to a few people! If you need a great, friendly, smart lawyer… call Lindsay Rand!!!!

I could not be more pleased with the services Lindsay provided me during this process. All my questions were answered promptly, whether it was a phone call or an email. I thought I would be in for a long wait and have to go through an appeal, but that was not the case. In less than 4 months from start to finish, I received my benefits. I owe Lindsay a debt of gratitude and thanks for his knowledge and expertise in this process. Most of all, Lindsay is one of the most genuine people

Attorney Rand was the only lawyer that would take my case after losing with a different one. I am thankful he took my claim on.
I will recommend Attorney Rand anytime. He is a very calm person with gentle mannerisms when it comes to his clients.
I am not easy to impress and can be very tough to deal with in regard to my stress level, and my straight shot opinions. He stuck with my difficult battle & won the case. He knows what he is doing. I have the utmost respect for him.
