I’ve been here so many times and always really liked it but today they seem to have drastically raised their prices charging an additional $20 on top of the pedicure price for gel polish. This is astronomical compared to previous prices and other places in the area. Such a shame that I had to leave and now find a new place since I will not pay such an outrageous upcharge.

My nails look horrible the shape is supposed to be coffin an it’s not the polish is on so thick that my nails look like blobs I’m highly upfront the quality I’ve gotten for the price I do not recommend coming here if you want your nails done how you want them they will be unevenly cut an horribly painted .

I have been coming here for about a year. I have never had a bad experience! They have taken Covid very seriously and have taken measures to create a safe environment. They do great work and I always leave very happy with my nails! They will forever be my go to for my manicures and pedicures!

I would recommend making an appointment if you're going on a weekend. I waited about 20 minutes, which was expected. A very nice, big salon that cares a lot about cleanliness. They have a large selection of nail colors and services, including dip and gel. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead 5 is because the lady doing my pedicure was holding my foot by my big toe which was super uncomfortable.

What an mediocre experience for the price....very disappointed.
The so called professional was very rude and disgracefully unprofessional.
1. She was very rough w my feet and spoke ill, about my pinky toe, NEVER have I heard a professional speak in this manner?
2. She aggressively asked me to pay via venmo instead of my debit card.
3. She took my card and asked me how much would I like to pay for a tip ?? Who says this?

Rushed service. I informed the nail tech that I had a broken nail, to please be careful. She forgot and when taking off the old gel polish she ripped into it more. Hurt so much! I understood that it was a mistake so I let that go! The worst of it was the really bad gel polish job. Streaky, sloppy, and lumpy.

I went last week and got dip for the first time. When I left the shop I was so in love with my nails. 6 days later (and I don't do anything extra with my hands or use my nails as tools) my nails have started popping off! I even lost one during church service!! I am so upset and mad! I paid good money for a nail job that barely lasted a week! To top it all off she used a drill on my nail bed!! So upset!

DO NOT GO HERE. This place is a disaster. Dirty pedicure basins, toenails and fingernails all over the carpet. The place in general is very dirty. I had to even ask for clean tools to be used on my hands because they were using tools that were sitting in a cup. They also do a terrible job and they overcharge. Stay far far away from this place!!!

Stopped in for a pedicure with my Mom on a weekday evening and we were able to get seats immediately. Staff was friendly and did a good job on our nails. They up-sold us on the wax treatment--a strange experience--putting your feet into plastic bags of hot wax, but the results were super soft feet. I enjoyed the massage chair and chatting with my Mom. I notice they have some kid-size chairs which would be a fun treat to do for a niece, nephew, or cool kid in your life. Will try again.

OK let's just get it out there - I'm a big, burly, beardy guy. And I like to get my toes did sometimes. It's a cool experience to have someone massage and trim and exfoliate and whatever the hell else they do that, as a guy, I don't know the words for. And yeah, I do get the nails painted.
The wait usually isn't very long, and you can make appointments. The nail techs have always been friendly, efficient, gentle and experts at making my digits look and feel great. In fact, it's about time for a return trip to get my dewclaws filed.

But clueless. Claimed they couldn't do a fill on my powder dip nails. It was on their service list and I even called before driving there. She tried and burned me with the drill. Said it couldn't be done and wanted to charge full price. La Perla up the road did it for much cheaper and it looks amazing.

Not sure why this place isn't rated higher. I visited this salon with my mother back in June for a wedding I attended in the area. It was a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I could tell that quality and service rank as top ideals here.

The place is clean and the nail technician was friendly. I was a bit concerned about the fish, as the water was foggy and it needed to be cleaned. Wait time to get my nails done was minimal. The massage chairs seem nice but don't do a great job massaging you while you're getting the pedi. I tried several settings but felt barely anything from the chair. I've rated 4 stars #1 for cleanliness and #2 for the technician making an effort to have friendly conversation with me. I would visit again.

I went in to American Nails on Bardstown Road on October 26, 2015. I have been going there since they opened. I went there to receive a great manicure and pedicure since I have been working really hard lately... needed a spa treatment!

I had my first gel manicure at American Nails last week. I really enjoy the salon itself. It's a large space, that's well decorated, with a great spa feel. The salon seems very clean and well kept, which I have noticed many other salons don't seem to care so much about. I did not have a pedicure, but I am looking forward to going back to have one there in the future, because the chairs look very relaxing and I watched a pedicure being done during my manicure and it seemed very thorough and enjoyable.
