I am a National Board Certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine - www.nccaom.org). I graduated New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Mineola, Long Island, NY after completing a 4 year personal apprenticeship program.
While I treat all general physiological conditions from internal conditions to muscular skeletal illnesses, my focus is on long term illnesses that Western medicine has difficulty treating. My passion however is focusing on balanced well being, aligning the internal with the external, to provide a complete rehabilitation process to my patients.

If you are a weekend warrior or a professional athlete, do you sometimes push your body to the extreme? Do you hone your skills and technique in order to become a healthier, stronger, faster and more agile athlete? In today's hectic lifestyle, we often do not allow adequate time to heal. W use painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications to dull the aches and pains and reduce inflammation.
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Steve is amazing at what he does! I came in for some post-surgery neck issues and in need of an overall full-body improvement and I left feeling fantastic and the results have still stayed in motion well into the next week. I have been to other acupuncturists and Steve is definitely my top choice. Will be returning regularly for visits now! Thanks Steve!

Steve Lim is a great acupuncturist. He takes much time and effort on the patient's diagnosis, and then tailors his protocols specifically to the issue. I had an episode of Bell's Palsey three years ago and still have some of the effects. I only started going to Steve this year but he has helped my progression back to normal activity on my face. It is a very difficult situation but Steve is determined to achieve complete success. His manner is calm. thoughtful, and caring.

Dr. Lim is wonderful. At first, I was very hesitant and nervous about doing acupuncture, but Dr. Lim was so kind, gentle, and patient. At my first appointment, he started with a thorough medical history and asked me a lot of questions to understand my situation. He then explained in depth about acupuncture and his proposed approach. At every appointment, he checked in to see how I was doing and would explain why he was placing certain needles at certain points. He was always very prompt and kept to the scheduled appointment time. After only 6 visits, the reason for my visits had been resolved

I have visited Dr. Lim for over a year for various purposes. The first thing Dr. Lim will do is listen to your explanation of the reasons for your visit and the health concerns which you have, then he will make an assessment of your physical health, he will take his time to understand your problems and what your body is telling him. Dr. Lim is very receptive to the patient's concerns and he will first treat the areas of immediate concern to address any pain the patient may have. After that Dr Lim will work with the patient on a treatment plan for healing the body and balance of internal organs
