Early childhood education experts agree: Nature is an intrinsic teacher. Amid the magic of sprouts to trees, the changing color of leaves, and the diversity of birds, children's curiosity is inspired by the different textures, sounds, and sights all around them. With loads of time dedicated to outdoor play, we nurture the connection to nature's natural healing and teaching powers. We teach kindness and respect, so your child can make meaningful relationships for a lifetime. Because muscles are made to move, we strengthen bodies through dance, games, play, and more every day.
Easily access our school from I-95. We're just down the street from Joseph W. Martin, Jr. Elementary School, making coordinating pick ups and drop offs seamless for those with kids who attend. Set among mature trees, you can find our school on the edge of a beautiful, residential neighborhood. We're steps away from the Riley Conservation Area, where you can take your child on a hike on one of the public trails after school.
Although the Daycare is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of town, our location is just a short walk away from Turnpike Lake, where you can share quality time hiking or fishing with your little one after school. Even though we are in a central location, our entrance is far from the main street, keeping families safe from traffic.
We have been at Wee Kare for 6 months and we have been extremely happy with how well our 2 children trantioned. The admin and staff are extremely friendly and run a great program that offers the structured enviroment we were looking for. Our preschooler looks forward to going to school, seeing her friends & teachers each day and loves sharing her day with us.

I am so thrilled I found Discovery Daycare. My daughter attends the toddler program, Miss. Jeri and Miss. Melissa are her teachers and are amazing! My daughter loves talking about all the fun things they do in class together and for her first time ever being in a daycare and not with family members, I couldn't feel more comfortable! Thanks guys for all you do!!

Discovery has been a great place for our daughter, and somewhere that I’m very comfortable sending her. She always comes home happy, and definitely engages with us more after a day at school. We really appreciate the updates and check-ins throughout the day that they provide us (pictures and videos), and it lets us know what she’s doing, as she does it. This gives us something to specifically ask about at the end of the day (“Did you do a craft today? What did you make? Did you have fun doing virtual yoga?) so she knows we’re in the loop.

Very caring, compassionate staff. Structured to the child's developing needs. I have taken three children here for daycare and it was such a positive experience for them all.
Everyone that I have spoken with that has had children go here all said the same thing, their children loved this daycare!

My 5 yr old comes.here 5 days a week. From the beginning when i called for info and prices, the assistant director went above and beyond to help me. My daughter now comes discovery daily and im grateful to get photos and updates throughout the day. No other daycare that ive dealt with has done the types of things that discovery does. They are the best around and yet affordable at same time! We will not be leaving discovery anytime soon!

My daughter started at The Academy of Learning- Discovery Daycare this past July. In this difficult time with COVID and so many unknowns, the school was always reliable, clean, and dependable. They promote outdoor play and expanded their playground to incorporate play that caters to learning for all ages. They have been adapted to new regulations in a way to help the students grow and learn in many ways. I get pictures and videos of my daughter throughout the day/week and the communication with her teachers and the office is consistent and reassuring to me that she’s learning and having fun while

The teachers at Discovery are very kind and friendly. My son has attended for over 2 years and he's learned a great deal in that time. He loves going to school each day to see his friends and teachers! Miss Tara, the director, is very accessible if parents have questions and plans thoughtful activities for all!

Choosing the right daycare for your child is extremely stressful and important. I can assure you that Discovery Daycare is the best. I visited a few daycares in the area and I loved this one in particular. Tara the daycare director focuses on the most important things your child will need to strive for excellence in life. All the teachers at the daycare are extremely nice. I love that I chose this daycare for my daughter. My husband and I had a very challenging time trying to decide where both our children would attend preschool and preK. We looked into several programs and child care options. Discovery Day checked all of our boxes. They are a curriculum-based program that has flexible days, hours, and fairly priced. They encourage outdoor play and emphasize compassion.
