My passion is in helping families rediscover the power and sacredness of birth and beyond. My goal is for women to have an empowered birth in which they are in charge of their bodies and decisions, and to support partners/dads so they are able to love the mom and experience the birth of their child.

Hi, I am Kerry Allen. I have over 18 years experience as a doula, childbirth educator, and prenatal yoga instructor. I have attended births in hospitals, homes, and birth centers. I have extensive experience in vaginal, caesarean, medicated, unmedicated, and VBAC births. My goal is for mothers and families to walk away from their birth feeling empowered.
Doula means servant. It is my privilege to serve women and their partners and families through this journey. For many it is uncharted territory. My job is to be a guide; listen, supply information, answer questions, and follow your lead. As a Doula, I know you know what is best for your baby and body.
Some of the topics we cover include: the process of labor, coping strategies, comfort measures, birth plans, unexpected outcomes, breastfeeding, postpartum mom and baby, and breastfeeding. These classes are tailored to meet your needs. This class costs $300.00 and includes many handouts, continental breakfast, snacks, movies and 25 combined years worth of childbirth education teaching experience.
