Atara Mechanical

ATARA Mechanical responded to my request for a quote right away. They charge $50 to assess what the situation is. So I agreed. They went up to my lake house, figured out the problem. My heater wasn't working, and Omar diagnosed the issue and repaired it. Normally you get the assessment charge credited to your final bill, they charged it separately. So I paid $50, plus the $125 labor fee. That wasn't something i was expecting. So, when you call them, ask them if that charge comes separately.

I have a new retail space that needed exposed ductwork. Atara was very quick to provide a technician for an estimate. Omar was punctual, kind and very helpful. His did an excellent job and I highly recommend Atara.

Omar came out before some people could even return our calls. He was on it! Very professional and did a good job explaining my situations and came up with two good options. Would use them again.

If I could give more stars, I would! Erik (tech) was exceptional. He went above and beyond trying to figure out and resolve our AC issue. I am assuming he spent more time than he planned and most likely billed for. Further, I have yet to EVER meet anyone as friendly and attentive as he was in the home service industry (construction, repairs...). I would hire him again and would happily hire him to work for my company if he ever decides on a career change!

Our AC unit was not blowing cold air and the fan speed was very low. Of course it happened during summer on one of the hottest days! Called several places. Omar from Atara Mechanical was the only one to respond quickly and able to meet the next day. Plus the $45 service charge was a great value! Received a text prior to his arrival which allowed me to track Omar before arriving. Upon arrival, Omar quickly identified the problem while educating me on the AC unit. Omar's passion for his work was evident upon the way he spoke and presented himself. AC unit was frozen so we had to wait for it

Thankfully was able to squeeze me in to fix my AC during a heatwave. The technician was very thorough checking all possible causes of the malfunction. He was able to correctly diagnose and fix the problem. There was full disclosure of what was being done and how much everything would cost. I am very happy with their service.

It was a great choice and experience to have a knowledgeable technician. Omar showed up and got right to work. diagnosed the problem on my ac right away. Replaced my compressor and got my family and I back the comfort of conditioned air. Very quick and efficient. I recommend this company to any one who needs their air conditioning repaired. I inquired on Yelp when he could come out to take a look at a strange noise coming from my furnace in the attic, and he was able to come out the same day with no up front cost. It’s been years since my house has had working AC. We’ve had two different people come in and tell us that we needed a whole new unit, and quoted us up to $9k for it. We just kind of figured until something amazing happened to us financially we’d have to deal with hot summers.
