Only 30 short years after the small southwest Florida town known as Ft. Myers, population 349, was incorporated, Virgil Robb and W.R. Lee opened their new furniture and general merchandise store. That year was 1915. Henry Ford's wife, Clara, traveled the rough shell roads and bought beautiful furniture there for their home on Riverside Drive, now known as McGregor Blvd.
The store product lines included the famous Edison Phonograph, but why not, the Edison's were also good customers. Harry Stucky joined the team two years later in 1917. By 1925, Lee had left the business and the company was officially known as Robb & Stucky. In 2011, a new Robb & Stucky was formed when the family of Samuel Kuo, founder and CEO of Samson Holding Ltd. purchased the brand and intellectual properties.

I had a nice experience at Robb & Stucky. We bought a sofa and a floor lamp. The service was super friendly, but not pushy. The prices are reasonable. Delivery was on time.
If you go here, definitely go upstairs to the second floor. There's a ton of fabric choices. They also have a lot of really great accessories for your home.

Even though there are very well intentioned people who work sales here, Robb & Stucky's penny-pinching bean-counters in upper management can ruin your desire to ever work with them again.
I bought a sleeper sofa. Custom order. I told the saleswoman that I needed it as fast as I could get it. I was told early October. It came in. I was told that I would have delivery on Thursday. I needed that, because I run a commercial B&B. The sleeper sofa was for a guest, coming to stay on Friday. I made this very clear to all, and thanked them for meeting my deadline, as cancelling would mean

I furnished most of my home at the Boca Raton location with an amazing designer.
Delivery which I was told would take 6 - 10 weeks turned into 5 months. I was still okay. Delivery was great, BUT when I encountered a problem (stains) on an area rug made by a sleeper sofa that's when my nightmare began. I was told by service the sleep sofa did not cause the stains. I took out an extended warranty, called and was told I did not have one on the area rugs. Apparently, my designer did not offer that service to me.
It took the store manager three weeks to return my call. He was going to

This is a beautiful establishment. Being such a new store there have been some growing pains. As a designer in Boca for the last 13 years I would give this store another chance. They have eliminated the problems one at a time. Come in and ask for me or one the many experienced designers. We are here to help.

Today we tried to buy nearly $5,000 worth of furniture here, but we were met with a manager who was totally incompetent. After spending nearly two hours in this store, we were amazed to discover he not only didn't know what we were trying to buy and have delivered, he didn't care! It was shocking. I can't imagine ever stepping back inside this store, and I would encourage others not to bother.

Robb & Stucky is a beautiful furniture store. I went there to look at what turned out to be dramatically beautiful pieces of fine furniture and accessories for the home. I was very impressed with the very nice and helpful staff at Robb & Stucky.
They were having a reception featuring a talk by the designer, Larry Laslo. He gave a very enjoyable speech and answered questions about his views on designing and decorating.
Then Robb & Stucky had a drawing to give away a Topsy-Turvy Table designed by Mister Laslo. To my surprise, I won the table!!! Mr. Laslo autographed it for me and they
