Born and raised in South Africa, he has been brought up with a chiropractic lifestyle due to the fact his father is a Chiropractor and went to the same School as he did (Palmer College of Chiropractic).

When I first visited McKinley Family Chiropractic, I didn't realize just how much the "family" part of the name was going to apply to me. Immediately, I felt comfortable with the doctors and staff. My concerns were heard with understanding, and useful solutions explained in a way I could easily grasp. There has never been an occasion when a doctor or staff member was too busy to answer any questions I had about my treatment. If only more health care professionals brought such a great experience with them!

I cannot thank Dr. McKinley and his entire team enough for the improvement their treatment has made in my life. I've experienced chronic back and neck pain for over a decade and within a couple of months of treatment I'm able to do things I haven't been able to do without pain since I was a teenager like biking, playing basketball, and hiking.

I started coming to McKinley Chiropractic because of a severe back strain from working out as well as multiple injuries from being an athlete in college. After a few sessions, not only was I ready to start working out again but my back started to feel healthier. Since those initial sessions, I’ve been going regularly to get adjusted and have had very few flare ups with lower back pain. I enjoy my visits to the Chiropractor's office. The people for one are nice and very friendly and make me very comfortable. I have had many problems with my back over the years. I had scoliosis and surgery as a teenager. Now that I am a senior citizen my back bothers me. Getting frequent adjustments makes my back feel real good. Lately I have also had shoulder problems and the doctors are working with me to get rid of that. I am very thankful to Dr. McKinley and his staff.

I started going about four months ago and have seen a tremendous improvement with some issues I was having. I suffered from reoccurring headaches and now barely get one. If I do, it goes away on its own. I feel so much better after getting regular adjustments. The staff is warm and friendly as well. I see chiropractic as essential now, and recommend you visit McKinley Family Chiropractic since they take a holistic approach to treatment.

I have been going to McKinley Family Chiropractic for almost a year now (or is it longer?). I have NO regrets at all. I have never felt better! The staff and the doctors are absolutely compassionate, caring and very friendly. I feel like I am visiting family each week! They are so knowledgeable and fully explain everything that they are doing. They always are so patient with me when I ask questions and NEVER feel rushed out of there. I have loved my experience here at McKinley Family Chiropractic! I went in with my lower back hurting only to realize that there was more going on. After only a few times of going, I feel so much better! Almost 100%! They have made me fees seen, understood, and well cared for. It was my first time going to see a Chiropractor, so I was a bit nervous and wasn't sure what to expect but Dr. McKinley, Dr. Ray, and their staff are very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray are very knowledgeable and caring. Before seeing McKinley Family, I had been feeling some stiffness on my neck and back but after I had a few sessions/adjustments, I started feeling less and less of that stiffness. After my first progress exam we saw significant improvements compared to my initial exam. The team is so friendly and kind. I appreciate their flexibility with scheduling

I am fairly active and new to the area. I started coming here in June after a minor fall had injured my knee. It also impacted the wrists and ankles. After the initial assessment, Dr. McKinley brought to my attention an old concussion and hips out of alignment which I didn't realize their impact on my daily activities. This is a good practice however they don't take Covid safety protocols as seriously as most other businesses in Chicago. I went today and there were way too many patients milling about in their small space and worst of all a newer doctor there was not even wearing a proper face covering! He had a small piece of plastic covering his mouth but his nose was completely exposed. I felt extremely uncomfortable. They don't even use full disposable sheets for their upholstered adjusting tables. A small piece is placed just where the face goes but the rest is being used over and over and not even

How do I start? I had a really -- in my opinion -- severe case of neuropathy where at my peak I was just feeling like complete and utter doo-doo. I didn't know what was happening to me. One word "Great". The team is great. Your welcomed with positive energy from either Valerie or Chely. Dr. McKinley and Dr. Ray are the best at making sure you get back to feeling healthy. I've been a patient for almost 2 years and I'm still obsessed with McKinley Family Chiropractic. I genuinely feel like the staff care about my well being - both mentally and physically. It was time for a wellness check... nothing dramatic, just a stiff neck when I wake up in the mornings or sometimes it's tightness in my back after 12 hours of sitting in front of a computer. I didn't feel 100%. These little "annoyances" tend to develop into issues later. I am so grateful I found Dr. McKinley! During my initial visit, he took an x-ray of my spine and gave me an EMG test. I don't usually write reviews but i felt like this warranted it. A few months ago I hurt my back doing dead-lifts at the gym. For two months after that, I was in extreme pain. It hurt me to sit, stand, walk- the only thing I could do was lay down. However, after two months I gave in and went to McKinley Family Chiropractic.

There is no single better choice I've made for my health than coming to McKinley. Honest, intelligent, holistic care and advice has been their consistent stance towards me (been going for approx 7 months, hoping to never stop).

I tried about 10 + other chiros with good reviews before ending up here. The staff is friendly, office is nice etc. They're extra nice. What I really cared about was getting rid of chronic neck/back pain. Neck twisting all seems the same and most places go left and then right with a few extra cracks here and there. At McKinley they perform detailed tests that show nerve pressure besides just the X-rays. The adjustments are very precise and targeted and it has made all the difference. At first I was coming in several times a week and my body has thanked me for it. I still drop in once a month

I really desperately wanted this to help with a chronic inflammation issue and was sold on the initial consultation. They were nice. A month later Ive gained 5 pounds (which muscle testing blames on inflammation, do what you want with that info). today I was told 'you must not be running enough miles' which is health care speak for 'go home, we won't help you.' I'm sure they are great if your back hurts or something like that. I really wanted this to work.

I can't say enough about McKinley Family Chiropractic! Very friendly staff, great environment for treatment, and the doctors really know their stuff! Ultimately, I care about results and that's what I saw from this chiropractic office. I went in with disc issues in the lower back. Dr. McKinley took a scan to see what was going on and after 3 months, the new scan looks great and the pain has gone away! Less pain, better quality of life. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Dr McKinley by my previous chiropractor, who moved out of state. I just had my first appt with Dr Arthur, I think, and I feel better than I have in months. I have high hopes for my future with this practice. I have multiple complicated back and health issues, I should mention, so I'm not the easiest patient in the world.
