The Havelock area business was founded in 1970 when Donald Wenzl Sr. opened Wenzl Body Shop a few blocks from its current location.

Auto body and collision repair work has become more and more complex over the years, and we stay current with the latest materials, processes and procedures. No Repair is too big or too small for us to handle.
Paintless Dent Repair is the art of removing minor dents from the body of a vehicle without the need to sand, fill, finish or repaint the surface. If you need a rental while your car is being repaired at Wenzl's Collision Center, we can help! Wenzl's can assist with rental car arrangements. We use Enterprise or Hertz. Once repairs are completed, you can simply leave your rental at our shop. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy or if you are the claimant.
Our Estimating system and technology allow us to complete an accurate and efficient estimate. We work with all Insurance companies. If you have a problem getting to us during regular business hour please call as we can make arrangements to help. The estimating process is the initial step in the repair process, and generally the most important in preparation for a timely repair.

Beyond impressed! I was paired up with Wenzl’s by an insurance company after my accident, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but every aspect of my experience was positive: a) communication was excellent, b) shop atmosphere was welcoming and clearly well-organized, and c) the work on my car was stellar (looks better than even before my accident). If I ever need body work again, Wenzl’s will be first on my list!

The repair took longer than expected due to shipping issues outside of their control...but Kelly at Wenzl's kept me informed every step of the way and patiently answered all my questions while we were waiting for the part. Once the part arrived, they were on it and repaired the vehicle to its new condition quickly. I would recommend Wenzl's to anyone needing body work on their vehicle!

Disclaimer, my son has worked here for a few months, HOWEVER my review is from a professional perspective. Working in the Insurance industry for the last 20 years it's very important that my recommendation to a client is solid. We've been referring people to Wenzl's for years. Not only do they do fantastic work, but they work well with all of the adjusters. We write with several Insurance companies and I've never had a complaint or problem from any adjuster when they work with Wenzl's. Their prices are reasonable and they will work hard every time to make sure your car is perfect.

Excellent experience with Wenzel's! Matt is an absolute GEM! They took care of everything with insurance and 3rd parties. Gave me honest, upfront expectation of time frames and expected results. We are not very experienced dealing with these types of problems so Matt and team showcased their expertise and handled it all. I could not ask for a better experience during one of the most stressful types of events. I hope I never need this type of service, but if I do, Wenzel's, and more specifically, Matt, have earned our lifelong business. I tell all my friends and associates.

I had a mystery leak in my jeep and Wenzls not only found the leak but they fixed the exterior molding and made it extra durable. They fixed and buffed out a dent where I hit a yellow post and had marks on my car. They blew out the drain tubes and taught me what to look for in warning signs. The cleaned out my car, vacuumed it and washed the exterior. I could not be happier about their service! They also dropped me off at work and were more than helpful and friendly. I will be referring everyone to them And if I need body repair, this is my go to place!
