Extended Child Care Coalition Of Sonoma County

The Mark West Extended Child Care center provides care for children 5-12 years old. Daily opportunities for homework assistance, computers, group games, dramatic play, and physical activity are offered. The center also presents a rich animal care environment with various pets and accompanying curriculum.

Extended Child Care Coalition offers before school, after school, and full day summer learning programs for children in grades K-6 in Sonoma County. Extended Child Care Coalition is committed to assisting each school-age child in obtaining life skills by providing quality year round learning programs, while supporting families and school districts.

Our agency began as a program of Community Child Care Council (4Cs); another community based organization and in 1978 was incorporated to become a separate agency. Since 1978, Extended Child Care has grown from a small school age program on two school campuses to one of the largest after school programs in Sonoma County.

Extended Child Care is proud of the work we do and implements nonprofit transparency practices. Our agency receives an annual independent audit of our financial statements in accordance with principles generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.

Call the Extended Child Care Coalition main office at 545-2402. If there are openings for the school your child attends, we will set an enrollment appointment in our main office. If there are no openings, your child will be put on the waiting list. When the enrollment appointment is set, you will need to complete an enrollment packet for your child.
