Rise & Shine Child Care Center

A short video highlighting our history as we transitioned from Rich Family Day Care Home to Santa Rosa Rise and Shine Child Care Center. In 1992 we expand to a large family day care home that included a full preschool program and K-12 home-school. For over 31 years we have supported the families we serve with a quality program format that provides stability and structure for children to thrive.

We operate on a nondiscriminatory basis giving equal treatment and service without regard to race, religion, color or national origin. We conduct group interviews only. This interview must be conducted prior to enrollment. At that time information regarding our program policy will be provided and other pertinent information exchanged.

The generally accepted definition of Continuity of Care is providing an atmosphere of care and routine that children can predict and trust. Programs do this by having small classrooms, low staff to child ratios, keeping children together as a group, and keep consistent staff with children as they move through stages of development.

The program curriculum and its implementation will determine the quality of care your infant or toddler receives. Santa Rosa Rise and Shine will create an individualized action plan based on the unique needs and age of development for your infant. Our goal is to develop the crucial importance of giving tender, loving care and assisting in your infants' intellectual development through an attentive reading of cues.

Payment is due in full according to contract, regardless of days in attendance and/or services provided, including sick, holidays and vacations. If your child is already enrolled a 30 day notice will be given before any changes are applied. This is an annual fee and is pro-rated based on first day of attendance and due every August thereafter.
