Difficulties are a part of life, and you don't have to cope alone. Services
Counseling is a process where you and a therapist discuss the issues you are facing and design a treatment plan that helps you achieve your desired goals. Your counselor doesn't have all the answers to your problems; rather, he or she works collaboratively with you to solve problems together, often by tapping into your own resources.
Lora Hoffstetter has a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Kent State University. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), an independent license issued for counseling by the state of Ohio. She specializes in individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults.

Her focus areas are mood and anxiety disorders, self esteem enrichment, anger management, assertiveness training, adolescents who struggle with self mutilation, and individuals and families who need guidance coping with the trauma of divorce.
Outpatient counseling services are covered under most health insurance plans. Please check with your insurance company to ascertain the amount of coverage for mental health services, pre-authorizations and co-payments if your health insurance is a managed care plan, and any deductible that must first be satisfied.
Nothing is more important to us than the health and wellbeing of our clients, our staff and our community. LHCA will continue to sanitize therapy rooms continuously throughout the day. 2. Only clients can attend therapy sessions. Family members or friends will not be permitted in the office during the client's appointment time, in order to keep the number of people in our waiting area to a minimum.
Employment opportunities at Lora Hoffstetter and Counseling Associates, LLC as an independent contractor are often available for independently licensed clinicians LPCC, LISW, LICDC or Ph. D. in Psychology or related field and psychiatrists. Interested applicants should have a minimum of 3 years post licensure and preferably be paneled with major insurance companies.

Did more damage than good. Therapist told me she had a theme song from the black eyed peas that she thinks to desribe me and husband. What therapist mocks like that? DO NOT GO HERE. still suffering from the trauma her therapy caused!!!!!!!

I've seen many therapists over the years and no one has ever helped in a way that worked. Linda F. Has made a great difference in my life and helped more than I ever thought possible. I am grieving as I can no longer see her because my insurance was cut off by my estranged husband. I hope someday they will accept medicaid and I will be able to return. Thank you for everything, Linda đź’ś

I had a lot of hope for this place, I really did. The atmosphere is nice (not a fan of fluorescent lighting but it was high enough of a ceiling that it wasn’t bad) and maybe I just needed a different therapist. I wouldn’t go so far as saying LGBTQ-unfriendly, but certainly LGBTQ-uneducated. I really didn’t want to try to educate someone who should be experienced enough with different demographics to treat me. If you are cisgender and straight, you may find everything you need here! If you are not, just be diligent with your research.

I can’t even express how much graditude I have for the compassionate care that my children have received from Hofstetter and assoc.
My son has autism (Aspergers), and they have been helping him out tremendously. Brian Starcher is his counselor and has been helping my son using cognitive behavioral therapy. It has been very useful in helping my son control himself and his anxiety.
My daughter sees Whitney Britenbucher, who is a wonderful person who is helping my daughter deal with her emotions through creative ways such as through art expression.
Whatever your needs are, this is a great environment

Forget confidentiality. The staff talks about you to each other without permission. I understand if it were something serious to discuss about the patient, but this is gossip. Completely unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend using this facility for mental health services if you wish to have quality care.

I have chronic mental health issues. I take numerous medications and attend bi-weekly therapy sessions to manage my symptoms. Lora Hoffstetter has been my therapist for over 10 years. She is very involved in all facets of my care and regularly communicates with my other doctors. She works WITH me, not at me. She took me on as a patient when other therapists refused because of my Borderline Personality Disorder. I have never felt judged by her. She challenges me and it is not easy. I have put in a lot of work to manage my conditions and Lora has matched it 100%. The intake staff have always been
