At the Bay Area Yoga Center for Health and Healing, we offer flow based (vinyasa) yoga classes that emphasize proper alignment and safe practice in a friendly and quiet atmosphere. We are rooted in the Astanga tradition of yoga which incorporates lifestyle, movement, breath, meditation, self study, and service.
The yoga practice at Bay Yoga is fantastic for improving strength, endurance and flexibility. Our nationally certified and registered teachers explain and demonstrate each posture. We encourage students to progress at their own pace. Flow Yoga provides poses that range from gentle to challenging, but are done with stable, self-centering energy.

As the owner of Bay Area Yoga Center for Health and Healing, I am passionate about helping people feel better. You are the only one who can heal you- I can help you figure out how to do this. For over 35 years, I have been studying the disciplines of yoga, meditation and movement.
During these many decades, I have sought out the best teachers of yoga, pranayama, meditation, stillness, yoga therapy, Ayurveda, Yoga Nidra, and movement that I could find.I am a perpetual student who loves to learn and share my skills and abilities with my students. I never stop learning and continue to take courses, workshops and trainings annually.

The past year and a half has changed life for all of us. Although we hope that things are finally returning to normal, there are a few lasting impacts from the pandemic. At the center, we now require that you preregister for all classes and events. Walk-ins are not permitted. We continue to do extra cleaning and sanitizing, and monitor the ever changing guidelines and situation.
At the Bay Area Yoga Center, we emphasize individual development and a self-paced practice. Everyone works at his or her own level within the same class. Yoga poses are adapted to meet the needs of all students. In this non-competitive environment, students are encouraged to value their own experiences.
As part of our mission, Bay Area Yoga Center for Health and Healing is pleased to offer shared rental space to massage therapy practitioners. We work on the Karma System of cause and effect, meaning a mutual respect of one another and the space.

I started yoga with Kathleen almost 10 years ago and have been addicted to her from the very start! She challenges me to recognize my strengths so that when I'm ready, she can help me take my practice to the next level. When a certain part of my body is calling for some extra attention, .
Three years ago I came to the Bay Area Yoga Center with chronic sciatica, very tight muscles in my neck and shoulders resulting from a cervical fusion, and a new diagnosis of lumbar stenosis with referred pain to my back, shins and ankles.Today my sciatic pain is gone, and my neck, should, rs and. At 50 years of age, I had a chronic digestive/ immune system illness that caused symptoms that had perplexed the doctors for over 2 years.

So incredibly unprofessional!
I have bought a 10hour package from Bay Yoga on the 23rd of November. After attending 3 classes I had to stop for 2 months now due to the lack of teachers and classes. I had to discover that by myself since the app wasn’t even updated and the person answering the calls didn’t have any relevant information. After that I attended a “terrible” class with the new teacher. I have asked for a refund considering the situation but they refused and since then I’ve been waiting, again, for the new classes and teachers to be introduced, as promised, but they never

BAD experience and Really bad service! They promised me they’d pay me back for some classes and never did.. I wrote a bad review, they asked me to take it down and asked for my bank details to transfer the amount.. but once I removed that comment, they stopped replying to my calls/texts and never transferred the $..

Great Bikram and Hot Pilates classes center. The instructors are very good from all over the world and the facilities over all are pretty decent. Quite pricey and not very flexible with the packages or deals. They provide one towel and you can rent a yoga mat for 5dhs if you need it. Carpark is available.

The main concern i have with the studio is the carpet flooring, looks like it was converted from an office space. Carpet flooring is best to keep dust and moisture, not ideal for a sport that focuses so much on breathing but unfortunately perfect environment for little bugs..
This is the only studio which teaches Bikram in this side of town so I go there for convenience..
Teacher is very professional and nice, which compensates the less friendly receptionist..

My friend recommended me to do hot yoga as I was suffering from muscle tightness. I called this place and talked to instructor directly and asked them if hot yoga would help me. The instructor recommended it and also gave me free complementary session to try it out.
Once I went there, the owner refused to allow me in. she was giving excuses as the complementary sessions are available in morning only; while I had to talked to receptionist and instructor previously and they told me I can come any time and do hot yoga and I just needed to check online schedule. During my conversation with owner,

The fact that the owner of this studio comments only on 5 stars reviews shows how they dont care at all about other peoples reviews.
I live in downtown area and i used to go to marina. By convenience i started going to bay yoga. Terrible place, unwelcoming personnel (mainly the receptionist). The only thing they care about is money despite all the nice philosophy they preach. I will drive 40 kms a day to go back to rawr yoga. At least i will enjoy my yoga sessiona and go home happy and relaxed.
