As a veterinary family practice, patients receive comprehensive personal care from our veterinarians and staff. Our desire is to partner with you as your pet's advocate, in helping him/her maintain a healthy, long and happy life.
Services
We provide veterinary healthcare for every stage of your pets life. This includes wellness/preventative care, laboratory and imaging diagnostics, and medical or surgical intervention when needed. Our practice seeks to develop and maintain full knowledge of each patient, within the context of its life and medical conditions.
Holly Scoren, D.V.M. obtained her B.A. degree in Zoology from the University of California at Santa Barbara, from there she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Araneta University in the Philippines. She grew up in Woodside, CA with a passion for animals and especially horses. Dr. Scoren founded the Animal Clinic of Topanga in 1993, to serve the community in which she lives with her children and 2 dogs.
We do not provide phone consultations for medical conditions or Quality of Life discussions as the doctor cannot fully evaluate your pet's health over the phone. We cannot provide medical advise for a pet that has not been examined. Please schedule an exam. All medical record requests must be approved by the owner of the pet through email.

It is not easy to see your beloved family pet age. It is even harder to see him suffer due to being frail and not being able to defend himself. Our family is very grateful to the veterinary care Leo received after being attacked by another dog. If it wasn't for Holly and Heather's attention, treatment and phone advice Leo wouldn't have made it. We like that Leo was taken care of within two hours of calling Animal Clinic. He was treated right away and we went home with all the necessary medication. When we had concerns our phone call was returned promptly. Holly showed us how to care for his wound

Dr. Scoren has cared for our animals for over 18 years. She has always shown the utmost in kindness and compassion to us and our pets. She is an excellent diagnostician and when she feels an x-ray or second opinion is necessary she doesn't hesitate to refer. She has opened her office when it was closed to help us and has come to our home when a pet couldn't travel. Her office is clean and well stocked and her assistants and associate doctors are always the best. After a visit with Dr. Scoren I feel confident that my pet has gotten the best care possible. I love the Animal Clinic of Topanga and the people there. Even better - so does my cat Rubio. He has had numerous problems and I have taken him to Holly for the past three years. She has helped him so much. Their follow up is top notch. He is diabetic, but has now been stable for several years. Rubio's review is actually the best one as he loves to see them and snuggle!
Holly and Heather both are wonderful and are always friendly with animals as well as with their people. Their prices are also comparable with other clinics.
