I'm a long time client (over 20 yrs) and have now been unceremoniously dumped by them.
Made appt for leaky toilet repair on Weds 5/26. Told me they'd be out Fri 5/28. Plumber arrived about 15 mins earlier than expected,diagnosed the problem,went to truck for tools,etc. Came back in about 5 mins later & told me "the office wants me to go LOOK at another job". Nothing that other job was an EMERGENCY mind u,just that he had to leave. Plumber never returned that day or the next work day either. AND NO ONE IN THE OFFICE CALLED ME BACK TO SET ANOTHER APPT,SAY GEE,WE'RE SORRY

We just completed a full kitchen remodel with Berwyn Western. We went down to the studs and got new lighting, cabinets, counters, etc. We couldn't be happier with the result. All the workers - plumbers, electricians, carpenters - were amazing. We highly recommend using Berwyn Western for any service/project!

Mike took the time to install my water heater during the polar vortex. 2 other companies wouldn’t even return my call. He was super nice and went out of his way to finish the job. Took away all the garbage and wore booties to keep our carpet clean from snow and debris... would highly recommend this company! Came thru when we really needed the service

Our heat went out during the super bowl. Of course we started to panic as cold air started flowing in through the vents. We googled companies closer to us in oak park and left message hoping to make an appointment for Monday morning. Berwyn-Western was the company that installed our furnace and the number was on the magnet in our basement so we called them last and left a voicemail. They were the ONLY company to call us back. They made sure to get to us first thing bc our house was at 40F.
Mary is a throw back to customer service that no one expects anymore.

Great experience with Berwyn Western so far. Keith, the owner, is a great, friendly guy who took the time out to explain to me how my new (to me) home's HVAC system worked in a way that was not condescending nor 'man-splaining'. Their office staff was friendly and professional. The installers were also very friendly and professional and worked quickly. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Don't recommend this company, go find other people first. I made an appointment for the AC and the plumbing system, two jobs, one week earlier. They didn't show up on the day they should come, I called them, they can't find my appointment in their computer, they called me back few hours later and told me they found the paper with my schedule on someone's desk. Not sure what happened between the management team, but to avoid it happens to other people, go find other companies first.

Wonderful! These guys took over a botched attic renovation. They stayed on budget and sought out an alternative heating system that saved me $$$. They were clean, efficient and friendly. Quality craftmanship, truly. Best of all they handled all the paperwork with the city of Berwyn which is a major deal. There were a few snags, but nothing out of the ordinary. I would hire them again in a minute.
