Absolutely loved my experience at Rivertown Eye Care! Dr. Eric Slapnicher took so much time and detailed care to dial in on my fairly complicated and changing prescription. We found both contacts and glasses options that work for my various needs (e.g. distance/driving, lots of computer time, everyday wear). The optical department staff have always been incredibly kind, accommodating, and educational about my various options, and they have the most gorgeous selection of frames. Fabulous decor, excellent music, and safe, considerate staffing will have me coming back for all my eye care needs for

This is a great eye care place. They were friendly, helpful, and were great about answering questions and providing information. Ordering glasses was easy and the recommendations were spot-on.
I saw them treating all people, including children, with care and respect. My kids are asking when they can go and I think this will be the perfect place for them to get a good experience and develop positive feelings about health care.

I have been extremely pleased about the quality of the glasses and the lenses from Rivertown. Also my no- line lenses are fitted so well I rarely have issues with “getting used to” a new prescription. I have worn glasses for 50 years and Rivertown’s staff have been some of the best for this! They also are usually” spot on” helping me narrow down/ pick out glasses styles that look/fit me the best.

The assistant doing the tests kept looking at her watch and rushing my eye tests. Because of the masks, the lenses kept fogging up on the eye test, and she said “try your best otherwise we aren’t getting through this.” It would have been nice to have my equipment wiped down so I could see and accurately test my eyes. The doctor came in and redid the test for me.

I was concerned about prices when I entered the store because it seemed so upscale. The store is warm and inviting. There are several people working behind the front desk but they are not generally the ones assisting customers. They are the people who will get an optician to help you, though. I had scheduled an appointment for an optician by phone before arriving. I am sure that this considerably cut down on the time it took to order glasses.
The optician will know all about the vision insurance you have, if you have any. The optician also worked with me and brought me a limited amount of frames

The clinic renovations are beautiful! The staff is warm and inviting right when you walk in. They seem to go above and beyond to ensure you get the best care possible. The opticians are very knowledgeable with the up to date trends and amazing frame selections. Their sun glasses selection is top notch! The doctors are very personable and take the time to address your concerns. I always have a great experience each time I enter the front doors!
