This means that you will meet the therapist at your initial appointment and will continue to see that therapist for the remainder of your course of treatment. Therapeutic Ultrasound is a method of stimulating tissue beneath the skin's surface, using sound waves. It is sort of a very high frequency sound massage, which can penetrate up to 4 inches below the surface of your skin.
