We have been serving the Prince George's County area for many years now. We specialize in providing quality and affordable Karate School services such as Karate School, Before & After School Program, Summer Camp, Martial Arts Class and Taekwondo. We are a licensed company that is dedicated to providing our clients with the best of service.
We have a Full Day Virtual Support Program in place to support your scholar in their learning with teachers and staff in place to aid in various subjects. We will follow the PG County Virtual programming. Our After School Program gives students an opportunity to participate in an extra-curricular activity outside of school.

STAY AWAY. This place is horrible. My four year old child was physically assaulted at this facility and the staff denied it. They didn’t even inform me about his injury, write an incident report; or administer first aid. The owner DOES NOT respect women. He only cares about MONEY. Staff DOES NOT supervise young kids appropriately in the classroom or when they go to the restroom. They are grossly understaffed and DOES NOT follow CDC guidelines. Some mornings there is trash on the floor and tables at 7:00 am, and kids are sitting at filthy tables without adequate supervision. There are about 30

My son was there 3 weeks and got COVID. They take zero precautions to protect the children, and have 18 plus kids in a small classroom setting. The kids seem to routinely have their masks hanging off during pick up, with no reiteration to keep on, and same with staff. Kids are allowed to share toys, iPads, and other personal items from home which isn’t the smartest given today’s environment and not being able to sanitize personal items brought in. There should be some precautionary measures in place for these children such as limiting class sizes, providing hand sanitizer to each child upon

I usually don’t write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one due to the excellent service I have received from the After School Karate Academy.
It is going on 5 years that I have utilized ASKA’s services. The staff are always kind and extremely supportive! As a parent, we always have concerns about the safety and care of our children. Thankfully, ASKA has never given me any reason to worry about my childrens’ well being.
I thank God for ASKA and the “Peace of Mind” it has given me throughout the years!

My 5 year absolutely loves this program. He looks forward to going each day after school. 4 days a week he has karate and on Fridays they have free day in the gym. The staff are friendly and responsive. I love that they stay open until 7 pm. While I've never exercised this option it's great just in case I have a late day or an emergency.

My 6 year old daughter started summer camp and she absolutely loves it. The staff is great, very friendly and you are acknowledged as soon as you walk through the door which made me feel comfortable leaving my child because they pay attention to everyone that comes in and out. They do something different with the children every single day!! I highly recommend!!

I have called the Academy twice this week about my concerns with the van driver. I observed the van driver getting ready to smoke a cigarette within seconds of the children getting off the van at Woodmore ES. I called the academy and they said they would address it because she shouldn’t be smoking in the vehicle used to transport children. Today, I observed the driver smoking in the van a short distance from Woodmore ES.I called again and they said they would follow-up. I guess they aren’t as concern as parents would be about their children being possibly exposed to secondhand smoke. For this

My daughter has been attending ASKA for three years and I am more than satisfied! The staff is excellent; caring and dependable. Mr. Ray, the nucleus of ASKA, is always there to answer questions and provide direction to the staff. His leadership is second to none. The owner is always on site - - very approachable and hands on.
Mr. Lashly and Ms. Joyce (tae kwon do instructors) are both professional and caring. My daughter's confidence has grown due to this program. Mr. Lashly has the ability to bring the best out in every student. He expects the best and demands nothing less; very disciplined
