I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the salon, and it seemed like they did a good job on my nails. I was happy with how they looked when leaving. The chairs/pedicure bowls are a little uncomfortable but so cute.
Checking out I was shocked that a standard pedicure and dip nails were $110, but I paid and tipped each person $10. I also paid for a friend $60 plus $10 each person tip (regular manicure and pedicure)
Well, less than 24 hours later my nails look awful. Whatever gel topcoat or regular top they put on is peeling away. I had to spend thanksgiving with them looking like this. I wasn&apos

I called to see if they accept walk ins and they did! The owner is wonderful and super duper nice. The ambience of this place is just amazing. Walls are covered with flowers and beautifully sorted nail polish. The music in the background is relaxing. My nail tech Gina is the best!!!! She is super duper sweet and very careful with my nails, and I am glad that I have found this place because I am definitely coming back!

Really bad experience. First of all, I was cut! The master cut me to blood on two fingers at once! Secondly, when I asked if the instruments had ever been disinfected, the master simply poured alcohol over my hands and the instrument itself - as a result, because of the wounds, it hurt me to tears. It's been a couple of hours, of course, it still hurts to move your fingers, wash your hands, etc. Terrible!

Not terrible. the girl actually listened to me. however a few of my nails she didnt cut. oy. 2 of my nails are sloppy. i called to make an appt cuz i figured its the weekend they are packed. when i get there the place is empty. overall place is clean. i was informed my skin is dry. why do these nail techs always insult customers when tips are involved? parking is a nightmare as you have to park blocks down. honestly i would come back and give em another try

I love Shades of Color! The salon is beautiful, very relaxing atmosphere and they gave me such a gorgeous mani pedi! My nail tech, Saly was so kind and did GREAT work and I also loved the manager. They squeezed me in for a manicure last second even though I only booked a pedicure and they were nice enough to fix the toenail that I accidentally smudged after I left. Highly recommend this place!!

Maritza did my nails and was perfect and so accurate paid close attention to detail this is by far the best nail place i've been to and trust me ive been to a lot, was also very affordable in comparison to many places... was 90$ for gelx and the design! was worth every penny im so happy i finally found my nail place!!! will be coming back everytime!!!

Very quaint, cute spot! However super expensive, $90 for a gel set. I called before, and they told me it would be $80, idk why they change prices like that. I was the first customer to come in, and the first thing that the owner and her worker asked was if I had an appointment, I wasn't greeted. Customer service could be better. It took the lady who did my nails several times to attempt the flowers, and the owner was looking over her the majority of the time, which did not make it a pleasant experience. When your paying for so much you expect the person to know how to do a simple flower design

I really appreciated them starting on my nails right away. You do have to find street parking but it wasn't too difficult. I went in for a design but they were unable to make it look how I wanted, so I just ended up getting a regular manicure. It's a cute space, and I'd recommend it if your near by. If you're looking for nail art make sure you make an appointment with the artist.
