Walk-ins can be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

She is a national and international speaker and has published many articles in peer reviewed medical journals.
Dry Eye Disease is a misnomer that includes many subtypes of the disease. The most common type of dry eyes occurs secondary to meibomian gland dysfunction causing evaporative dry eye disease. Thankfully we now have ways to image these glands and therapies that can repair their functionality. The tear film is made up of water, lipid (oil) and mucus.
A cataract is the opacification of the natural crystalline lens we are all born with. Over time, the crystalline lens grows like "rings on a tree" and becomes opaque, causing blurry vision that cannot be corrected with glasses. Dr. Camejo has access to the newest technology which includes the Femtosecond Laser at the Laser and Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches.
Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve which is the cable that goes from the back of your eye to your brain. Glaucoma is a slow and silent disease that can and causes blindness if untreated. Treatment is centered on lowering the eye pressure. It does not cause any symptoms and therefore screening is fundamental.

Jean Fritz - I had surgery to put new lenses put in both my eyes. Dr. Camejo, at every appointment and on the day of surgery took the time to answer questions and explain the procedure and what I could expect from the surgery. That results are terrific and I can see better then I have in many years. Her staff is knowledgeable, explain what tests they are taking, and make you feel very comfortable, I highly recommend her and her staff.

I had glaucoma in both eyes plus cataracts also in both eyes. I was referred to Dr. Camajo, my experience was nothing last than awesome. In the beginning it seemed like a long wait in the office waiting room. I soon relized the wait time was because Dr. Camejo takes time with each patient. This personal approach proved to build confidence and trust in her. The staff is professional and very nice. I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes.I feel 20 years younger.

There are not enough words to express our gratitude for Dr. Camejo. My father was blind in one eye from childhood and had developed severe glaucoma in the other eye, which was inevitably going to leave him completely blind. Dr. Camejo saved his vision. Aside from her excellent bedside manner, more importantly, she is extremely skilled and professional, which gave us the confidence in knowing we were in good hands. She performed a high risk surgery with confidence and care and my father is able to see again. Thank you Dr. Camejo for saving his vision and we are forever grateful.

This office is a well run, very friendly, and very good at what they do. Dr Camejo did cataract surgery on me about a week ago with wonderful results. The staff is skilled and exceptionally friendly and kind. I was kept well informed by Dr Camejo and her staff as to what was going to happen and what results I could expect. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Larissa Camajo is not only a competent surgeon but she is also an amazing human being. What impressed me most is both her talent and dedication to her profession. Dr. Camejo is simply a fantastic surgeon yet humble and unassuming. She did glaucoma surgery on my left eye. It was an amazing experience because I did not even realize she did the surgery. It was all finished and I felt wonderful like it never happened. The pressure in my eye dropped immediately. I had been struggling with pressure in my left eye for a long time and In fact lost half of my vision before finally my ophthalmologist
