I was recommended to work with Jeff via a local friend, and everyone I spoke to knew of his services. He was prompt, and fit me into his schedule on short notice. He was also able to recommend a wide variety of critical tests, which would help ensure water quality and provided a detailed report with photos attached. He was very patient with me, and kindly took his time to inspect the property while I was not able to attend in person during the pandemic. Mr. Perry adjusted his schedule so he could do an inspection early for me. We were going to move into the house the next week after the inspection and rent until we bought it. Jeff talked to us about each problem. Thank God we had someone who was as thorough as he was. If it wasn't for him, we would have bought a house that we never would have been able to sell without putting 30k or so in it (& probably more!). Jeff also realized that the radon level was high and gave a good plan and a fair price to bring it down.

Jeff was very helpful to me on my first home-buying adventure. He was quick to get in touch to schedule the inspection. He also gave me lots of good information in the report and included photos, which will be super helpful for me in the future when I address things that can be repaired. I am a first time home buyer, means lots of confusion on many things. I am glad i contacted Perry for home inspec. He is very professional and through in giving details when we ask any question about inspection. He takes that extra step to protect the home buyer falling in to the money spending pit. Jeff saved my wife and I thousands of dollars on a money pit house. We hired him on a whim based on these reviews, and let me tell you - they are not wrong. Jeff was extremely professional and most importantly thorough. A previous inspection was done in the house only months prior, and the gaps of missed issues between the last company’s “report” and Jeff’s professional inspection were amazing. I cannot recommend him enough and he was worth every penny that we paid him. We will continue to use him for as long as he is willing to travel into the southern tier.
