From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Dr. Masak is equipped to handle all your dental needs. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Crowns are synthetic caps, usually made of a material like porcelain, placed on the top of a tooth.

Dr. Masak has been practicing dentistry in Appleton since 1988, in a practice that has served the Fox Valley since 1904. He is only the third owner, and some of his patients have been treated by all three dentists over the years! Dr. Masak is a graduate of Appleton West High School, and studied at U. W. Eau Claire prior to graduating with a DDS degree from Marquette University, in 1986.

I like Dr. Masak a lot. I like that he asks me what "I want done", and doesn't just tell me what "he" plans on doing. His staff is amazing, you couldn't ask for friendlier people.
He's helped me to save money as my teeth are not in the greatest condition where others would only try to get me to spend a fortune.

I am so very pleased and delighted with the work Dr . John and his kind , helpful , very competent and professional team have accomplished , with the extreme case i presented to them . i was known to refer to my smile as a gruesome grill , which was unfortunately very accurate. Thankfully Dr John loves a challenge and i 'm delighted to share that he was up for the task and more !!! i'm 64 years young and have "never " had nice teeth , i'll spare the details , however NOW i have an amazing smile and my teeth actually meet / touch on both sides of my mouth for the FIRST time in my life !!!!!!! Our family of 6 have been dental patients of Dr. John G Masak for over 20 years. The entire staff is friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. Dr. Masak is the best dentist that I have ever met in my entire life ! He is the only dentist that I trust to work on my teeth. He is very good at listening and answering all of your questions. I like the amount of time he spends explaining everything in great detail, and he has an awesome sense of humor as well. His office staff are extremely friendly too.

I've seen a few dentists in my 40 years for emergency visits, Never have I had a dentist that I saw more than once. I found Dr. Masak and I'm keeping him! This guy and his awesome staff know what they are doing I waited too long to find him so I had to have a complete extraction that I wasn't looking forward to, But his team was very educational & professional yet still had a great sense of humor. PAINLESS!!
