We, at Rainbow Connection, are proud of our motto "A Loving and Learning Place" and we are committed to living and sharing it every day. All children are lovingly accepted regardless of race, faith, ethnic group or physical limitations. By providing appropriate activities, materials and equipment, we enable each and every child to achieve his/her optimum learning experience.

In our facilities, we provide a variety of "Learning Centers". These learning centers help each child to grow and develop physically, academically, socially and emotionally. Also, we believe it is greatly important for the children to learn to respect themselves, one another, their teachers, and their physical environment.
Services
Rainbow Connection had it's beginnings as an in-home childcare and preschool. It was owned an operated by Rose Calvin in Federal Way from June of 1987 until August of 1991. During that period Rose developed her childcare program philosophy by blending her real life childcare experiences with her academic training and classwork.
Rainbow Connection recognizes the need for quality childcare in every community and we are committed to doing our best in every way to provide the highest quality care possible. We are further committed to providing a developmentally appropriate environment which meets the needs of children of all ages.
Our belief is that children "learn by doing". To support this we provide a variety of "learning environments". A learning environment is a location in the classroom which is designed and setup specifically for certain developmentally appropriate activities. Some learning environment are: Arts & Crafts, Block Building, Quiet Corner, Manipulative (for small motor skills) Dramatic Play, and Science.

My son has been going here for only a few months and I have had nothing but problems with the center staff primarily the director. They have poor communication with the parents as well as horrible attitudes for people you pay to care for your children. I’ve already had to elevate to the district director and when I requested to elevate to the owner of the center they would not give me their contact information, told me the owners were out of town, and I never received a phone call regarding my concerns. I would never recommend this center to a family, it looks like it’s falling apart and when
