Services
Our Head Start program helps children to advance in their education and helps them enjoy learning. Midland's Kiddie Korral Inc. offers the highest quality Head Start educational program for children in the Tacoma, WA area. Since 1985, we have been helping children advance in all educational subjects by teaching them in a fun and relaxed environment.
Midland's Kiddie Korral proudly began offering Early Head Start toddler care in 2015. Early Head Start is a comprehensive child and family development progran that provides many free services to eligible children and their families. Eligible families including but not limited to foster children, DSHS/WCCC/child care subsidy, kinshipcare and homeless families.
Our goal is to encourage each child's mind, and encourage him or her to think, remember and experiment. Our Waddler room is for young toddlers 17 months to 2.5 years old and the Toddler room is for children 2.5 years to 3.5 years old or for children that are needing an extended transition into preschool.
We put your child first! Our accredited and certified teachers, with AA's in Early Childhood Education, are here to help your child advance in their education and help them enjoy learn and prepare for their educational journey. We are one of few blended Head Start/Childcare programs within Pierce County and the only blended program within the Franklin Pierce School District!

The staff at MKK are welcoming and kind when I pick up my nephew. It was clear the first time I came to pick up my nephew that safety and security was a top priority To them and I appreciate them confirming my identity and ensuring that I had authorization in picking him up. My nephew always has a happy face when I arrive leading me to believe he has awesome days at daycare.

My nephew attends MKK and I only hear great things from this daycare. They are clean and provide such a positive and supportive atmosphere for him. They provide children many opportunities to learn and play with different mediums and setting. Recently they had a graduation for pre-school children and their attention to detail and the care each staff put in was so thoughtful.

My niece goes to Midland's Kiddie Korral and she just loves it. Every time I pick her up, she's so excited to tell me about her day and all that she's learned. The staff is amazing! Shout out to Miss Amber and Miss Juanita - they are the best! But everyone there is friendly and engaged. So lucky that she has had such a great learning experience there!!!

My daughter has been attending MKK since she was 15 months old, she’s 4.5 now! We absolutely love the center and the teachers! They are all well educated in Early Childhood and amazing with the kids! My daughter has a special bond with Ms. Amber and Ms. Kimberly and I absolutely love that she loves them so much! MKK is like a second home for my daughter and I’m glad I can go to work and not worry about her all day because I know she’s in good hands!

The staff at MKK are welcoming and kind when I've come to visit and pick up my nephew. The classes are bright and it always smells clear. The monthly newsletter helps us keep in the loop of how we can support his development in and out of daycare. Their team oriented attitude is greatly appreciated to our family!

My daughter goes to preschool here and it's the best. The staff is great and you can tell that they all love their jobs. It's a very clean and colorful facility. Parents can text teachers for updates and pictures. My daughter loves her teachers and their helpers so much, and she talks about them all the time. They feel like family to me. My daughter is learning every day and thriving. Most members of the staff have degrees in early childhood education and they truly understand what toddlers need. The owner really cares about the kids and their families. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking

Ever since my kids have started going to the midland kiddie Koral I have had a great experience. My oldest is now in kindergarten and while she was there she loved it. My middle child goes there now and he loves his teachers. I love taking my kids there. I’m waiting for my youngest to get old enough to go to midland kiddie Koral. This is the best daycare I have found
