Belmont Child Care Assoc
The men and women who take care of the Thoroughbreds at Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course and Aqueduct Racetrack often need assistance for daycare. Days at the stable for grooms can start as early as 4 a.m. and continue until after 8 p.m. The Belmont Child Care Association provides a safe and loving care center for equine workers' children and provides early education for the little ones whose parents work at New York racetracks.

BCCA is fortunate to have a dedicated team who work tirelessly to benefit the families of the backstretch.
Services
The BCCA set about building a center, selecting a licensed child care provider, and spearheading fundraising to support the continued operation of the center. Anna House, the centerpiece of BCCA's efforts, was built in 2002 by Board Chairman Michael Dubb and named for the then two-year-old daughter of major donor Eugene Melnyk.
To provide a safe, supportive, and academically inspiring environment for the children of parents working in the Thoroughbred racing backstretch area located at New York's historic Belmont Park, Aqueduct Racetrack, and Saratoga Race Course. We are committed to promoting early childhood education, molding young minds, and encouraging the fulfillment of dreams.
BCCA is grateful to the following organizations who help to enhance our program at Anna House by providing resources that enable our children and their families to discover new possibilities. We are always seeking corporate and community partners who support the goals of the Belmont Child Care Association.
Faith's House is open to children of backstretch workers, trainers, and racetrack employees. At Bright Horizons, we know childhood is a treasured time. We believe it is our responsibility to provide environments and experiences that capture the joys of childhood, nurture each child's individual growth and development, and pave the way for success in school and life.

Used to be great place to enjoy the races but since construction underway, it's not enjoyable at all. Place doesn't look the same anymore, tough to get to as well with all the detours around the area. I won't be going again until construction is done.

Surprisingly fun for kids! An easy Saturday afternoon at the track. My two year old is still talking about the horse race and the popcorn. Husband loved the adult activities and I loved the family doing something fun together.

Always a pleasure even when I am only making my donation to the Thoroughbred Retirement Fund! Super Saturdays are loaded with great Stakes races. Halloween weekend is going to be full of great Stakes races both days. And fun things for the kids also. Plan a trip!

My beloved Belmont Park. What have they done to you? My first visit since 2019 and oh how different it is. Didn't realize that they took about a third of the backyard area to accommodate the new arena. The biggest thing missing are the trees. No shade anymore. The track and the horses are still spectacular. But the facility itself? It's a shame to see this place in such decline.

The Belmont stakes was a great experience and the park itself was clean, beautiful, and looked quite historical. Lots of food and drink options and the views were wonderful. I would definite suggest this place to any equestrian buff and horse racing enthusiast.

Beautiful track, friendly staff, only gone on Belmont day lots of food people. Feels very historical and classic. Lots of nice spots where you can go and have plenty of quiet and space. It’s all around a great day at the track on Belmont day. Did I mention the food truck festival on Belmont day?

Beautiful park , the racetrack is so huge it's breathe taking the trees and atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful and you get to see the horses up front very close. The bathrooms could use some updates but for a 150 year old place it's is beautifully maintained so much to take in. Parking pretty cheap as well.

So much fun to go to the racetrack! Wonderful to see the horses to watch the race to enjoy a delicious warm pretzel. The people who took the bets were very patient with my silly questions and were patient and helpful. The only negative that blew my mind was that a small bottle of water was $5.00. But I would absolutely go again.
