My practice will focus on prevention and wellness, not just taking care of you when you are ill. I recognize for those who truly value their health, having a physician as an advocate is the ideal doctor-patient relationship. You will receive an annual Comprehensive Wellness Evaluation, which will be the cornerstone of your personalized wellness plan, created to keep you feeling your best.
I believe the patient experience begins from the moment you call our office. When you are in need of an appointment, you will be seen promptly, in an unhurried fashion. During your office visit, you will be the center of attention with your needs attended to as if you were a member of my extended family.
My family has been in Vermont for seven generations, ever since the winter of 1759 when Captain Abner Bisbee marked off the first road across Vermont, the Crown Point Military Road. The Bisbees settled in Waitsfield, VT in 1832, the same year the village covered bridge on Bridge Street was built.
So, when I established Stowe Family Practice back in 1986, I knew that my roots in this area and my relationships with patients would be at the cornerstone of my new medical practice.From the beginning I recognized the importance of a personalized care approach. Patients received my home phone number and I made house calls, cared for nursing home patients, and personally admitted patients to Copley Hospital.
So, when I established Stowe Family Practice back in 1986, I knew that my roots in this area and my relationships with patients would be at the cornerstone of my new medical practice.From the beginning I recognized the importance of a personalized care approach. My goal is to provide the highest quality medical care and service, emphasizing a proactive, comprehensive approach to both disease prevention and wellness. I will aggressively attempt to prevent medical illnesses before they occur. These services will be provided in a relaxed, professional setting.
