Compounding is the process of mixing different chemicals to make a unique patient-based medication for that individual. Have you ever baked a cake? No matter how many times you choose to bake it, you will get a different result each time. Compounding is like that cake in that it is unique according to the patient or doctor's specific requirements.

My doctor recommended Crescent Drugs after recognizing allergies with certain fillers in my prescriptions. I will now only use them for my medications. The pharmacist who helped me, Pantea, went above and beyond! She found out the ingredients within all the medications I had allergic reactions to and walked me through the overlapping ingredients to help me go back to my allergist to pinpoint my allergies. I didn't ask for this, didn't know that was even possible to learn, yet Pantea offered this information and went out of her way to help. Remarkable. Can't recommend Crescent

I have been a customer with Crescent Drugs for over ten (10) years, and I am always delighted with the service I receive from the staff. Crescent Drugs is my go-to pharmacy for my compound prescriptions. Pantea, the pharmacist, always calls me personally if there is a change in the prescription to make sure that I know how to adjust with the prescription. These folks have been, for years now, consistently great about refilling my prescription for DNCB.
I just have to call in and give my Rx number and bam-boom-bing, my prescription appears in my mailbox a few days later!
They were even helpful one time when my doctor's office was being difficult. How often does the pharmacy go to bat for you with your Dr's office?
Highly recommended for any compounded prescriptions!

Be wary of this pharmacy for compounding medications! My daughter used to get a special compounded ointment for hair loss (Alopecia Areata) from them. Out of the blue the topical Med (compounded for 5+ years here) stopped working. When we switched to another pharmacy recommended by the prescribing doctor, my daughter's Alopecia Areata abated and now she is regrowing hair; she suffered hair loss for a year!
I trusted this pharmacy for years and I'm very disappointed in them!

I've gone to numerous compounding pharmacy for my skin condition. One of the pharmacist went above and beyond by recommending different options to have prescribed to me when I asked my dermatologist they had thought it was a great idea and has helped healing with the scaring!! After a year I'm no longer insecure with being makeup' less when walking out the house.. all thanks to crescent drugs!!! Thank you!

This is a wonderful pharmacy. From day one I was impressed by the individual and personal effort to make customers happy. Pantea is simply amazing. Sally and Ivan are so nice and helpful as well. The pharmacy has gone over and beyond to communicate with my doctor as well as make sure any questions I have are answered. I refer my friends and doctors to use this pharmacy and anytime I need new prescriptions, I check first with Crescent to fill them. Highly professional and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Updated: they called me to harass me after reading my review. How incredibly unprofessional.
Horrific experience. I called to verify they were contracted with my insurer and they would be able to obtain a prior authorization. Instead, they call me and are extremely rude and called me a liar and that I never spoke to anyone and they won't do the prior authorization, and they won't contact my insurance, and then started yelling at me that they dealt with this for over three hours (which is ludicrous, because they should have just called me for my insurance information). Absolutely terrible

Panta who claims to be the owner of this company, Doesn't return calls, is curt, surely, arrogantly, -not the least bit helpful. Not even after conferencing a call with the doctors office was she willing to work with the doctor to resolve any "mis-communication". The poor manners and unwillingness to work a doctors office suggest she is used to making excuses for her mistakes- An excellent example of the "Peter Principle" Panta has risen to a level of incompetence and is happy staying there.

Do not count on this company to aid in the supplies of an elderly, disabled person. Especially, if you must deal with Elvira. Flip-flop, she is not in that dept., but is, items are covered, then they are not, all in the course of hours. She has no patience to understand the issue, talks over you, too much and too loud, instead of trying to aid in a resolution. Quick to tell fibs and hang up on the call. I understand that they are a business to make money, and not a jewelry store, so,we are not talking to you because we feel like we need a decorative nose ring, for a house-bound person. Remember

What terrible customer service. I was trying to see if they carry a medication for a patient Alvira was in a rush and HORRIBLY RUDE. Would you believe she deliberately hung up in my face when I tried to ask why she directly sent me to a voice mail instead of just letting me know that's what she was going to do? What kind of business (especially one that is SUPPOSED to help people) does that? I'm so disappointed companies like this exist. ZERO STARS.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They treated my husband like a dog. They were supposed to provide enteral tube feeding. They were always late and he was continually running out. It was horrible, sometimes he had nothing to eat for a day or two. They always had some crackpot excuse for why they couldn't deliver on time, never called and when they delivered it was often the wrong prescription. I tried but finally left them, don't go to them for your enteral feeding. NIGHTMARE!

I recently had to get a compounded medicine for my child in which my normal pharmacy (I deal with express scripts (tricare) where they mail the prescription to you) could not create the medicine. Not only did the owner of Crescent Drugs assist me with this, she went above and beyond. She spent (3) days trying to get the compound just right so it would not be a harmful mixture for my 7 year old child and my child could actually handle using it. Instead of charging me for a whole months worth of medicine, where the possibility of wasting some of it and my money could occur if it did not work,
