I've never been so dissatisfied in my whole life! The funeral director came to my home to start my contract, he's making notes and I couldn't see a thing. He never told me my options, or what services were available. I gave him a down payment and he left. Afterwards I looked over my contract and alls he put me down for was a cremation. No transfer of me, no obituary, no burial beside my love. He lied and said I needed a power of attorney to give permission for the cremation, I spoke to my attorney and he said I can give my own permission as long as me and the funeral director both sign it. I couldn't even count how many funerals I've been to a Swarens. I've never noticed any issues or seen a "bad" service there.
I felt like they did a really good job helping my mother-in-law put everything together when her mom passed away last year, which was much appreciated.
