I called for a tow truck and when speaking to them they wanted take sure they could do the job. Two men showed up just to look at the car ,unfortunately they couldn't tow it but got someone who could. I really appreciated the fact they went out of there way to make sure they could do the job . Great giya very friendly and professional I will use them next time if I can .

I contacted this company for a tow from exit 201-202 in San Marcos to New Braunfels exit 184. I was stopped in a dangerous location early on a Saturday morning so I didn't shop adequately as I was panicked. I have now found out there is a wide variation between what all the tow companies charge. This man charged me $225 dollars. I called my insurance company (Allstate) and they said he overcharged me. Additionally I called a competing tow company and they quoted me $175 for the same distance. I called the gentleman to see if we could work something out and he yelled at me that I couldn't go to

Apparent “affiliate” with Japanese Auto Repair who is a great, kind, and respectable place. Called to see the towing prices to tow my car less than a mile and a half away, told me it was 90 dollars. When I sounded surprised he rudely said, “what do you think it should be?!” I let him know that other places were just asking for 60 but I called him because of his affiliation with the repair shop I like. Apparently that doesn’t mean anything because he then rudely said, “go with the other companies then, and hung up.” I’ve never seen such embarrassing etiquette. Go with a different

If I ever need a tow again (and I hope I do not), I'll be calling Dan's. When you are in a bind, ya want someone you can count on.

Dan's Wreckers Service is inexpensive. It is the lowest rate I've found around here, and they provide quality I couldn't find anywhere else, even paying 3x as much as Dan's costs. That is from personal experience.

Daniel came through for me at the last moment!!! I had booked an appointment to have my vintage VW transported to Austin by another towing company days in advance. The other company assured me they'd be at my home around 9am. I made arrangements to arrive to work late that day. 10:30 rolls around and still no word. I called Daniel up. He was super friendly. He told me that he could be at my home in about 1/2 hour. His tow truck operator Michael called me to let me know that he was just around the corner filling up the truck with gas. Dans Wrecker. Service is an honest and reliable business. My family has used them several times. Dan is polite and always fair in his dealings. I have his number in my phone contacts.
