This technique releases chronic patterns of tension in the muscles through deep pressure, specific strokes, and trigger point therapy. This is a shorter massage done with lighter pressure on sideline with pillows to comfort the mother.

The main intent of a Swedish massage is to increase oxygen in the blood flow and release toxins from the muscles. This is done through a variety of techniques designed to relax the muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones. This is done rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.
Chronic back pain and lower back pain are common complaints from our clients. They often ask at some point in their massage therapy, which massages are the best for relieving back pain? We have our favorite 3! Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Sports. Peoples everyday sedentary lifestyle causes muscles to tighten up, and deep tissue massage is one of the best options for working out those kinks.

I have been using Sunrinity Health for a little over a year now. I get monthly massages there which I find extremely beneficial to relieve both mental and physical stress! Sunshine (the massage therapist) and Kenny (her scheduler) are extremely friendly and very helpful. I often times have to reschedule (once even the day of!) and they are very accommodating and understanding. I read Bunny's review (1 star) and I have to say I have never had any sort of problem like this ever in the 14-ish months I've been going there. In regards to the massage quality, I am very happy. I like to work out and frequently

I've been to many massage facilities and I can honestly say that Sunrinity is one of the best. As a 40+ avid tennis player I always have areas that need extra attention, and Sunshine instinctively knows where they are and how to address them. I've been her client for over a year and with my monthly massages she has me feeling better than ever. I highly recommend Sunrinity.

I have been going to Sunrinity for about two years or so. I found Sunrinity by using a Groupon and have never left - it's that good! I go every month! My little sister, 18, and my mom, 50+, now go Sunrinity too after all my positive experiences! So at ages 18,25, and 50+ - we all love it! It's for all ages! We all are obsessed! My sister is off to college next year and is still going to come back every month for her massages! Sunrinity is a small company so you feel comfortable- and you know that all the people that work there love their job and are good at what they do! Even when I have health

Sunrinity put out a Groupon for a massage, I bought 2, one for myself and one for my boyfriend. After three days of calling their phont (during business hours) to schedule an appointment, I decided to try walking in. The door of the facility was locked, and I was let in by a /client/ of the facility, as the woman at the desk remained where she was. I spoke to her, and she was unable to make an appointment with me for an entire month, and that would surpass the expiration date of the groupon. She said that they refused to uphold Groupons after expiration dates, even though they were booked through

I see Shawn and he is really good. He specializes in deep tissue massage and that is what I need. I carry a lot of stress in my neck and shoulders and need someone that can work the knots out of my muscles.
They have a simple set up in a building that is 1/2 a bank and the other half different businesses. You walk in the building turn left pass the restroom and a couple other offices and they are in the back.
Your greeted and made to feel welcomed. They have nice soft chairs to wait in and soft music.
The rooms are small and cozy. The tables look like the are made of bamboo and look weak

The place is nothing fancy, Juana does a very good job though if you like a very strong deep tissue massage. I feel like she is one of the strongest massage therapists I have ever had. It does make you a little sore the next day, but if you drink a lot of water it does help loosen up some big knots:) I wish they would upgrad the massage sheets, but I don't think it is a waste of time if you are in there for pain treatment.

I got a deep tissue massage here because of a living social deal. I read the reviews before I came, so I didn't expect much. I got a good massage and can't complain.
My therapist was professional and effective. She was able to get into my tight areas with a good amount of pressure. The place is not a luxurious resort, but clean and simple, in-line with what I paid. The walls are a little thin but they played soothing music to help mask the noise. The check-in was quick and easy. Overall, I would recommend for a budget massage.

Like several other customers, I purchased a groupon for a massage. My first massage I had to cancel because I had to pick up my child from daycare. I had to cancel again as I was called into work. I provided timely notice, however I was not able to call prior to 24 hours. I was informed that I would not be allowed to redeem evn the cost I PAID for my groupon of $35.00. I am also filing a complaint with Groupon.

I nearly pitched my Groupon after reading the reviews but decided my need for a massage was too great. I agree with Kimberly E. on the atmosphere, but would have classified it as utilitarian and simple. Sheets were blue & blanket green, which doesn't give off the "I've been sterilized" feeling but they were definitely clean. My therapist did a good job, although I circled my head on the "where do you hurt" chart & he never touched my head! He has great hands and his technique for spine and calves were spot on! I enjoyed our conversation (he's a foodie

Living Social deal gone wrong. The space itself is dirty, uninviting with bare minimum decorations . Feels and looks like an old doctors office. The bathroom is a communal building bathroom. The reception consisted of two people up front flirting and me feeling out of place and uncomfortable while filling out paperwork. I was weary before I even got in the room. The massage was sadly the worst massage I have ever had. Ever. I wanted to get up 10 minutes after it started and just end it. I felt like I not only wasted an hour of my day but was feeling grossed out from the experience as a

I've had several unsatisfactory massages at places all over Kansas City before finding a gem in Shawn!! I'm recovering from a bad car accident and he has been fantastic about areas to cater to (and to avoid). I did recently ask if they do prenatal massages and they said yes and immediately informed me that it had to be 2nd trimester or later, and that I must have a doctor's authorization note. It's a bummer other people haven't had great experiences there, but mine (3 so far) have all been fantastic!!! I do agree that they could dress up the rooms a little more, but

I had a 30 minute appointment today that I made yesterday afternoon. When I arrived for my appointment, the guy who took it remembered talking to me, but said I was in the system with no appointment. I asked if it was for a different day and maybe there was a misunderstanding. Nope, nothing! He looked at the massage therapist who was standing there just chatting with him if she could "take care of it". The massage room was barren. The table, a stool, and some corner shelves for a speaker. I guess I should be grateful there was music, though I could barely hear it over the people talking

A total dump of a place. The staff wasn't friendly at all. When we made the appt we asked if they performed prenatal massages and they said yes. They gave no other indication otherwise and when we showed up for our appt they wouldn't perform the massage on me without a doctors note of consent. Very frustrating because they never told us that in the first place. The receptionist was rude and overall the place wasn't clean or welcoming.
