Buyers Eyes Home Inspections is locally owned and operated by a licensed home inspector, Brett Stouter in both MD and PA. Brett previously worked for a large insurance company overseeing construction and conducting inspections, from where he retired after 38 years. Brett possesses a very broad base of technical knowledge of all home trades and systems, including being an electrician.
He is actively involved with continuing education to keep up with National Standard changes as needed. He values honesty and integrity and provides professional services to homeowners and prospective buyers with prompt, friendly, professional service, before and after the home inspections. He has the ability to communicate technical issues in terms that home buyers and sellers can understand.

Our standard inspection for residential homes involves a comprehensive assessment of the properties visible and safely accessible features while complying with the InterNachi residential standards of practice. A detailed electronic inspection report will be sent out the same day of the service so that you can promptly proceed with the next step in the home buying or selling process.
They made the process seamless from beginning to end. Scheduling and payments were easy, and they provided us with a very thorough report highlighting items we wouldn't have thought to look for. We highly recommend them for home inspections! Brett did a thorough and quick job. He was the cheapest home inspector by far.

Brett is kind, honest, punctual, professional and extremely thorough. He arrived early and explained everything in detail throughout the process. He answered all of our questions with patience and a demonstrated detailed knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Brett was incredibly helpful as my wife and I bought our first home. He showed up on time, started outside the house, then went to the attic and worked his way down. He brought his iPad and took pictures of any areas of concern. I shadowed him throughout the home and he answered all of my questions and gave recommendations on various repairs. He got the report back to us the same day; it was thorough and included the pictures he had taken with notes attached. We passed along the requests to the seller and obtained a credit at closing.
